Point Pleasant comes in 2-0 with wins over Lincoln County and Ripley.

Key offensive weapons include senior running back Grant Safford, sophomore quarterback Cason Payne, and senior running back Sheb Harris.

Two seniors anchor the line with Seth Stewart, who committed to LSU this past summer, and Joe Clark.

This will be the last game in the series as far as I know.

Is there a running clock in WV? Point scored 76 with a running clock last year

Gallia improved a lot in a weeks time. Blue's defense appeared to have made steps in the right direction. From the stands it just looked like size and strength couldn't compare to what Meigs or RV brought to the table. As we all know Point has had some very dominating teams in the last few years. I expect Point to have the same this year (although all I hear is how down they are). From a Blue Devil standpoint, all I look for is continued improvement. The type of heart and effort we saw Saturday night is something we haven't witnessed from a Blue Devil team in the past few years. Good Luck BLUE!!! Stay healthy and keep fighting!

i agree with almost everything you said here. the only thing i disagree with a little is after 1st drive of game.. i thought gallia handled river valleys size and strength. at end of half and game.. river valleys depth played out... besides that i agree. i will be very proud if our team plays with that much heart and effort every week.

RV played a bad game we gave up 3 drives over 60 yards to them. We were inside the 20 what 4 times scored 1 time, blue is down on talent and coaching staff needs to be all fired. Clean house get parents off the staff start over lift weights take it serious. I'm embarrased!!
