Ron Burgundy: Boy, that escalated quickly... I mean, that really got out of hand fast.

Champ Kind: It jumped up a notch.

Ron Burgundy: It did, didn't it?

Quote from The Anchorman that just about sums up the game.

Also, did Parker get hurt or did they just chose not to play him in the 2nd half???

He is going to be a treat to watch the next 4 years.

First of all, congrats Burg. Second of all, I knew Burg would be the superior team, but Portsmouth had the mindset of they were beat before they left the high school this afternoon. Not a fun game to watch as a Trojan fan. Absolutely embarrassing, scared to hit anyone, standing around watching, I mean honestly I guess that's what happens when you get beat by the same team yearly and it's not close. This game prepared them for the rest of the season. They won't play another team on the same level as Burg. Glad to see Parker was well enough to play. Lastly, what is illegal participation? Heard it called several times tonight and I have absolutely no clue what that means. Lol

More than 11 on the field, I would've said 12 but hey never know could be 13 or 14. LOL. Some officials just make the call differently, if I'm wrong though someone correct me. Because at that point I don't know either

Illegal participation is the same thing as illegal substitution.

Hopefully Jackson or Waverly can give us a decent workout and help get us somewhat prepared for playoffs

There's the BURG....then there's everyone else!

Illegal participation can also be mouth piece not in or helmet not snapped

Tonight I believe they were calling that the WRs were not coming inside the numbers after the ready to play whistle. Burg got called for that a couple times last year.

Here is how I see it. Jackson will be a decent test, but Waverly, they are going to be the real test.

I'm hoping the Ironmen can, but I'm not sure that will happen.

Going into the season, I thought the Jackson/Burg game would be close. Jackson seems to be getting better, but they're still not clicking on all cylinders, and Burg appears to be playing well. The Ironmen have one more week to get ready.

Burg's football program has risen to another level. If you all keep doing what your doing there'll eventually be another state championship trophy in the case.

Congrats. Went how a lot thought.

Does W-Burg really play in Cincy at 2 next week?

I have it on my slate as one of my two Sat games, if so.

Burg desperately needs some sort of test prior to Week 11 and beyond, hoping Waverly will be a contest and make us work. These first three games have been ridiculously uncompetitive.

Must say ,in very impressed with burg they dominated.

My only question is why number 4 isn't the starting QB? He is much better then the starter and they don't give him much time at all?

Really? I don't see that at all. Dyer has a great arm. He makes good reads. All around he is better than Lowery.

#4 is good but I think the Trojans had his number last night! They seemed to be ALL over him so I thought #12 did an outstanding job as qb and the rest of the team excellent as well! I'm very impressed on how the second string played, catching one of the fastest kid in tri-state area down the field and showed everyone that Burg is just as fast if not faster this year! And wow!!! Keeping the Trojans from scoring on the 1 yard line!!! Wow! Great job Pirates keep in going 1 game at a time and just maybe we'll see cold h2o in the future for a comeback and a win!
