Congratulations to SEOAL All State Players

Post by Offsides »

From the banks of the Ohio River comes this message of congratulations to the players from Jackson, Logan, and Zanesville who were selected to the Division 11 All State Football team. The league produced some first team, second team, and a few honorable mention to the all-state squad,
All of these guys were very deserving of the honors, so again we extend our congratulations to all of them.

At the time that Offsides posted, I don't think he had seen the D3 or D4 teams. I believe that's why he only recognized the players from the D2 SEOAL schools.

Mike Angle, Alex Wallace, and Seth Moritz were also "Special Mention" picks for All-Ohio.

Best the purple and white have ever done with the AP All-Ohio, but I think the drop in divisions helped a lot.

Congrats to ALL SEOAL players selected to All-Ohio. It's certainly a great honor.

Ironman 02 is on target!

Post by Offsides »

When I posted my congratulatory message to the SEOAL players who were selected All Ohio, I had not yet seen the Div.111 or 1V teams yet. Ironman 02 was correct on his post.-Now we throw in the guys from the other league teams and I think our entire league was honored with this many selections to All Ohio.-Perhaps 2008 will be kinder because we have a tremendous group of underclassmen who will move up one year in 2008, and just might be even a larger group to represent the SEOAL on the 08 All Ohio. Let's hope so!
