I've caught quite a few Athens games (home and away) over the years on the Nelsonville cable channel. (Side note, it's pretty cool that they do that. I wish other areas did the same.) I've wondered how does the home team get homered so often. They get more calls against them at home than any team I've ever watched. And they definitely don't get any love on the road in the TVC by officials.
Speaking of which, I've heard that the boys at the head shed in Columbus are keeping an eye on a couple schools in the TVC and crews for some questionable official scheduling (having the same crew multiple times in a season at home - taboo) and phantom calls. Heck, one of the crews has an official that does varsity games that his son plays in. No wonder they're watching.

VC continues to improve in all facets and pulls out a hard fought victory tonight. Vc is more talented than many believe, albeit young the talent is starting to grow up.
