In my opinion(i have alot of them)the offseason will have alot of an effect of the game, i know it always does but with waverly loosing alot of the line and piketon needs to get faster and stronger, the hard work will pay off will really pay off!!! and for Brabson going back to Waverly, that is only a dream!

i agree with sports101 on his statement in your dreams on the issue about brabson's go to waverly, and what i ment by brabson's
best bet would be to stay at piketon because his best season would be at piketon then converting to waverly

I didn't say Brabson was going to go back to Waverly or that there was talk of that. Just having a little fun since there is nothing concrete to talk about this early.

Let me settle all this talk about the line situation Downing is the only returning lineman on O-line but I think that Brian Evans at 6'1 300 will be playing a role in both offense and Defense. Chris Schuyler will also start on both sides and be a dominating force. The O-Line will be BIGGER, STRONGER, and MORE PHYSICAL then ever before.

I've also been hearing Waverly's boys up front will be bigger, stronger and more physical than last season.
Sports101, these kids went against Waverly's starters every day in practice the past two years so I'd say they'll be ready for some fresh meat come Friday nights.

What Waverly is going to miss the most is that Senior leadership. If this team remains a band of brothers and leadership develops the Tigers will be fine.

I have been reading this forum and i just had to get on here because there is a bunch of jibrish on here for the record Piketon is very talented all over the field but redstreak passrusher there not gods Waverly yes inexperienced but never the less will win some ball games this should be a great game start to finish and if the streaks play a physical game theyll be ok because one thing they lacked from all but a few kids was the nac of being physical and thats why Adena did what they did they need to play football need hit someone and with the talent they win this one.

not saying that the o-line at waverly isnt going to be good but piketon also has some strong physical kids with osburn who is faster, bigger, stronger then evans which they both are sophmore's and another issue is piketon has atleast 7 potential starters at guards they have pate, varney, montgomery, and at center they have osburn and littel(has alot of exp in varsity games) and at tackles they have moore, webb, and osburn there to,george so it will be a contest and who will be the waverlys o-line?

LIGIT OWNAGE Piketon dosent have that many fighting for 1 position it wont change much from last year Pate will likely start with Osburne at center and Varney Lightle playin it out for the other Guard and you still must replace a left Tackle because from what I've seen Moore holds the right side down well and half those names listed will quit before 2 a days are over they do every year but Piketon has potential to put a bigger line on the field then in years past so it wont be a cake walk in the trenches.

Who's to say Osburn is faster, stronger, and more physical then Evans not saying which is better but why would Lightle move from the center position?

Osborn being as good as he is can't block everyone...he'll surely try but that would be impossible....

Moore is a strong kid I do know that....and George will not be as dominant if he doesn't even get a starting spot and how your sayin with the position battles he more then likely won't!!!

A possible match up for Evans in Osborn could be instore but...that all depends on who plays the nose.....which could be Schyler,Evans, Maggard, or even Friend with each of those guys u'll have to have two blockers on each to make it an even match up thats not including the other looks of the defense you will see.....!!!!!!111

Look Piketon has some talent that could be on that line but it will be even on the line the rest of the field Piketon has lots of experience but up front with exeption of Moore and Lightle and Pate played in 1 game the rest have never done more than close out a blow out.

You don't need to be an English major, just have some common sense and courtesy for others.
