Valley Football 2008

Post by Chief Wahoo »

Whats the outlook for this years squad? Hopefully better than last year. By the way what happened to all the Valley posters? Surely a couple bad seasons didnt run them all off. Post what you know about the upcomming season.

Well, I now live 850 miles away, so it is hard for me to keep up with what is going on. I had heard that Buckiewicz was coming back out this season, so that should help at the RB position. Valley will have a nice QB in Utley, but overall I think they will be pretty young. You will hear Brice Crabtree and Luke Keller alot, both are good young ones. I think that the Indians will be a very good team in a year or two, as long as they stay with it.

GOOD LUCK!

I think Valley will be improved. They never stay down long.

From what I have heard, Valley is about a year or two away from being a serious threat in the SOC. But, only time will tell how good they really are.

FalconFan,

I think what you are hearing is correct! The main challenge is to get the kids to stay positive in the upcoming season, and work hard to get better.

Valley is a year or two away. I think Utley will be a great qb for valley this yr and next yr. They may go 4-6 or 3-7 this coming up year .. I don't see them winning more then 4 games

How many SOC II games do you believe they will win?

I dont see them winning many conference games this year. I do see them pulling out 3 wins during the season and having a much stronger year in 2009.

I think with the amount of young kids, I would call this a "learning" year, opposed to a "down" year. This team has a ton of young talent and they are going to be very good in 2009.

I'm calling a 4-6 season...

Valley does seem to have a lot of talented freshmen and sophomores. I see them being a lot better in 2009, and assuming the same players stay and work at it, real good in 2010 and maybe 2011

I look for the same falconflyer, and looking real forward to it. Word around the campfire is there will be a face returning to Valley this season, and I think it will make alot of people happy. We'll have to wait and see...
