wing-t, you are blowing this WAY out of proportion. It was asked who would win, and the question was answered. Now, UNLESS HHS has some dynamic freshman that we dont know about, what leads you to believe the result will not be the same as last year, considering HHS lost their 2 best players? Secondly, Valley BEAT HHS @ HHS with those two last year 21-0. You said it is a team sport, which is right BUT...your team was FLAT dominated last year, and didnt even sniff the endzone. I remember they didnt make it past the 50 until late in the second half, so I was just giving you the benefit of the doubt in the earlier post.

It might be a close game who knows, but basing things off of logic (I know such a crazy concept these days) Valley should win this one by 2 scores, they might not but thats just what appears should happen. It's called a projection, ya know what 99% of us do in the off season.

wing-t,
I did not claim to be an expert. Yes, football is a TEAM sport. Based on what the TEAMS did last year and what players each TEAM lost from last year, and the fact the game is at Valley - I think Valley will have the better TEAM and will win.
Plain and simple.

First of all mstangmom you have your facts wrong again. SE won 2 games last year.

As for who will win or lose the HHS vs VALLEY game. How can you make an informed decision when practice hasn't even started yet? Yes most teams have had a couple 7on7's but what does that prove, you can throw the ball with no defensive pressure. Until team gets a game or 2 under their belt do we really know how they we be. Yes we can look at last year but that team would be different then the team this year. It could be better or worse but we don't know until we see them play. Maybe this thread should have been posted after both teams had a couple scrimmages. Then everyone would be better informed with their opinions. Good luck to both teams.

COOP ole buddy missed ya, how ya' been?

Guys first off wing-T is not from HHS he is from Southeastern. as you saw he corrected me on the # of wins his school had last year. got to tell ya' though the 2 wins they had the would have been better off if he had not admitted that.

Anyways, wing-t will come all over any thread that pertains to the SVC and complain if you are predicting them to lose. he doesn't think predictions should be made or even a score kept that way everyone is a winner and no ones feelings get hurt.

That being said, I gotta go with Huntington just because they are a league school. they usually have one or two hiding on the sidelines. heard they got a transfer in from Southeastern also. think he was going for the QB spot not sure. one big advantage for Valley though is the game is at home and on turf. one thing here in the SVC none of us not have. If they can make the adjustment quick to the turf it could be a great game.

This should be a closer game than what many people think. From what i hear Valley is strong, fast and physical. Huntington is the same also. These are two good football teams and should be a good game.

Based on last yrs teams, and what they lost. I have to go with Valley, simply because of the loss of the Kellough boys from Huntington. JMO

007 knew that...thats why he had the smiley!

I'm VERY happy to see Coach Rolfe back at Valley!!! It looks like the coaching staff I played for...which was great.

Looking for real good things out of this team in the next few years!

I think 5-5 will be a success for this team, and I look for big things out of them in the upcoming years.

How has Valley been doing in their 7 on 7's? Or have they had any?

I know Huntington has had 3 w/ Northwest, Waverly and 1 all day @ Otterbein.

I'd perfer Coach Andy Hall. I see the Indians winning 1 or 2 games this yr. Not enough athletes on the field.

and I'd prefer coach Scott Rolfe....

Not saying Andy is at all a bad coach, but Scott Rolfe can motivate in a great way. Now, if they just get Dean Schuler....back on the sidelines...then hell I'd want to suit back up!!! LOL

Good Luck vs. Huntington!!
