It is only like a playoff game IF Athens beat River Valley, If Athens loses against RV, They will not make the Playoffs, Therefore the NY/Athens game means nothing other then what seed NY gets.

Let's talk about your team and where they stand for the playoffs then........ma77ox wrote:Yes there is going to be a lot riding on this game that should be talked about in a Week 10 Athens @ Nelsonville-York thread.Orange and Brown wrote:I agree with dog. If you notice I'm not talking about them, We have NO chance to make the Playoffs...Why would I want to discuss them in a Playoff thread.Orange and Brown wrote:Let's talk about your team and where they stand for the playoffs then........ma77ox wrote:Yes there is going to be a lot riding on this game that should be talked about in a Week 10 Athens @ Nelsonville-York thread.Orange and Brown wrote:

Yet, both Athens and NY do so we can discuss any game that impacts that weather it is week 9 or 10.ma77ox wrote:If you notice I'm not talking about them, We have NO chance to make the Playoffs...Why would I want to discuss them in a Playoff thread.Orange and Brown wrote:Let's talk about your team and where they stand for the playoffs then........ma77ox wrote:

right now ironton can't be thinking about the Trojans. they 2st have to beat the gahs blue devils 1st n see what happens. it's going to really get exciting for local teams the next 2 weeks. league crowns will be won, playoff hopes will be dashed, playoffs become a reality for some teams and fans will make travel plans or being playing in their own back yard. this is all going by wayyyyyyy to quick.

Congrats to everyone who has clinched.
To those on the bubble play your guts out.
For those mathematically eliminated play for pride and to win going out to set up a good next year.
Hard to believe only two more Fridays of regular season, wow.

Ironton will drop even after beating GHS and the last game with ptown could be a decider if they make playoffs and ptown has only best 1 or 2 teams with a winning record , not looking good for Burg avoiding the tigers in round one.

i'll just take getting in the playoffs at this point. whomever they play. really want no part of burg right now. but to be the best you gotta beat the best.

Ironton will be 7. unless liberty union beats amanda clearcreek. If that would happen, they will be playing the burg. Now if somehow York gets beat by athens, and LU loses, ironton could be as high as 6th.

they could have folded their tent , but they didn't and that's admirable. there is still fight in the fighting tigers.
