and what exactly are your reasons for Alexander winning 42-0? There is no way this game is won by that wide of a margin

alexander really came out in this game prepared. im not sure whther alexander was that much better. or whether eastern was not as good. i was under the impression the eastern was improved. maybe they had a bad game. who knows. as a recent alumni i can say im proud of what i saw from alexander. things look good. KEEP UP THE WORK SPARTANS!!!

Something like seven turnovers for Eastern....can't expect to win that way......can't expect to be competitive either. Alex looked STRONG.

Any reason for Alexander to do a onside kick already up 41?

will i do not completely agree with the onside kick. i did play for arno for his first 3 years. and he was mainly about trying stuff out in the first game. that may not have been the best time to try it. as far as im concerned the Alexander program has not earned enough respect to run the score up. and as far as im concerned there is no reason for any team to ever run up the score.

Trust me Arno didnt call an onside kick. Alexanders kicker got hurt the night before and they had to work on someone new the night before the game. He was kicking a squib kick and kicked it off the side which made it look like an onside kick. If Arno was trying to run up the score he would have left Cody Lawson in the game which had I believe 2 carries the second half. Coach Arno has the upmost respect for every team he plays, you can ask any Alumni who played for him. He never looks past a team and would make them seem 100x better than they would just to keep the team thinking it will be there toughest game.

I agree with sue e. side,it was not a onside kick. The kid just missed the ball.It looked better than the two Eastern tried .I thought Alex played very well.Nice offense with two quick, hard ,running backs.Quarterback threw a nice ball and the line came off the ball well.Just good old power football. If the only thing Eastern has to complain about is a kid missing a football with five minutes left in the 3rd quarter, then it,s going to be a long year for the Eagles.

i think this is a bull s**t comment. if your trying to put down alexander for winning that bad then u have a lot of growing up to do. Who knows eastern may have had an off night. they may come out and put a whoopin on their next opponent.

as far as the onside/squib kick. i looked up and saw in from the stands so i couldnt tell if it was accidental. i did play for arno his first 3 years. and i will say that he does NOT look down on any opponent. he does NOT run the score up. i saw a bunch of underclassmen getting to play friday night. but also like i said he may have just wanted to test out a "trick onside". but i am well aware that the number one kicker got hurt. so i very well could have been an accident. but none the less its over now. bother teams move on to bigger and better teams. good luck to both teams.

GO SPARTANS!!!

Sorry for asking about the kick. ATownWarrior, the Spartans are a all around ball team good luck the rest of the way.

i questioned it as well Eagle82. who knows if it was meant to be an actual onside kick. or if it was a mistake. i dont.
