Knowing that Darby will have a down year but still clearly looking past the Tigers, I thought that Marietta would be able to pull it together and win this thing. But the Canal scrimmage changes my prediction. I always root for the SEOAL but I can't ignore the beating that Canal put on the Tigers in the last scrimmage. While scrimmages don't always tell the whole story, a small town team like Marietta has to show more than 3 points to even stay close to a down Darby team that just came off a pretty decent D1 playoff run. I will still be watching Football Firday Night awaiting the unthinkable upset of the Panthers but I must be real here. PROVE ME WRONG TIGERS!!

Darby had a poor showing at one of there scrimmages as well. They played Lexington and looked average. The Canal team that came to Marietta looked very good. Marietta had a poor showing but I cant take anything away from Canal they are for real. I wish the Tigers all the luck in the world. I hope they play well and take it to Darby. I sure hope the Tigers can shock Darby at there house and give ChiefCruiser95 his "unthinkable upset". Dont count the Tigers out, they will have it together friday. I will say Tigers 28 Darby 21. Go Tigers!!!

well i wanted marietta to win and put the tigers on the map. i was disapointed we could not get a win in points. but we did get a win in so many other ways. the tigers were out gunned all nite long. they were a better team with 22 legit starters. all good. the marietta tigers of the past would have quit when it got tuff. But the new tigers, the Schob verson of the tigers were fighting till the end of the game. even when all hope was gone. i am so proud of them.
