What the??? We are 1 game into the season! 1 game, and all of a sudden Burg has a crappy defense? No one has proven ANYTHING yet! And Since you know this "crappy" defense so well tell us about it, and how it will be scored on so easily.

On that note since you know it so well why are you not on a coaching staff? Call Bob Lutz up and ask him how powder puff Burg's DEF is!

hmmm wow.. i'm shocked seeing all these sp over the burg.. yanno dont get me wrong jacob seagraves is a "great" player.. but i hardly doubt he himself as one person can stand up to eleven pointer hungry pirates.. but i'm gonna take the burg by atleast 2 td's.. i mean unless somehow they can find a way to clone about 10 more seagraves, then ill take sp by 5438672547893265437862 td's.. hahaha.. Groveyard, seems like you are predicting how good South Point is before you have seen them play. Yes Jake Seagraves is a great running back for the Pointers, but he dont do all of the work. The Pointers also have the returning Senior Ryan Plants, the Junior Doug Dillon, and the Senior transfer from Huntington High Chase Woodson. These 4 guys are a huge help to the Pointers team, but they also have a decent passing game once they get it down. JDUB if you wanna see some real talent, then come on down from Cincy and watch the 4 guys i just mentioned. I say South Point by 3

thats a blow for burg for sure. but from what you guys have said the backup isnt a push over. what exactly happened to lang? and what year is shankweiler(sp?)?

Not sure exactly, I think it's his ACL and something else. Shankweiler is a sophomore.

Hate to hear that for the kid as that's a 6-9 month injury, but it happens in football. The Soph QB will do just fine, just remember he is just a Soph and he will make mistakes. His Sr year he should be one of the best in the area with the experiecnce he'll get. Best of luck!
