Yes the Tiger clan is separate from the school.The reason for Wed. night meetings is because of games.
Mon=Jv Tues and Thurs. 7th,8th and 9th friday=Varsity,that leaves Wed.
We do have them on Thurs. during basketball sometimes.

Is it true this school has never fielded a team before and only practiced a week? If that is true, Canadian teams have different rules anyway, strange ones, and it shows when they play in the USA. Anyway, if that is true, the Tigers will annialate them...it won't even be fair. I say Tigers 100-Canada 0.

Mt. Carmel went 4-2 last year. Don't know how long they've been a team, but they did field a team last year.

MT Carmel has 1800 students that attend school there.

The team we beat year before last 27-7 ST Thomas More, Not only did they go on to win the Canadian championship that season, they have not lost a game since then and repeated as champions last year.

St. Thomas More also beat a division 1 school up north last year. Not saying that division one school was a power house or anything, but it's still a good victory for St. TM.

Even with the recent results of ironton in mind there is no way Ironton can lose to a team from Canada. Not much drama on this one.

and sick of hearing everyyear the have a state championship team every year. THEY DON'T!
the green bobcats would kill them

maybe if ppl from ironton did brag as much ppl wouldn't be so negative

Ironton is sort of like the Yankees. Everyone hate them because they win all the time.

We definitely need out of the seoal... Hard to schedule a ten game season or notas an independent, It is much more exciting than reliving the seventies and eighties. It just seems like old hat and nothing to get excited about...Ironton may be rebuilding, but i hate the fact we are in the seoal. It just bores me to tears and to me that is SUB-STANDARD FOOTBALL!!!
The only teams that manageD to win a post-season game or two while Ironton was an independent for years in the seoal were gallia and jackson. Logan always got romped first round. I do think since they are bigger schools for the seoal, they have an advantage as of now, but if The past three years would not have happened at I town they way they did(coaching/A.D. drama), we wouldnt be in the seoal to begin with, and if we were, we'd be dominating starting the first game we rejoined... we need out of the seoal. F....AAAA....SSSSSS.......TTTTT.....

It is working smooth as silk... Ironton up already... With a one td lead... They are trying to throw long bombs and overthrowing. They got the ball first and fumbled and freeman marched it in from about 13 yds to give i town the lead...

Sorry to bust your bubble but Ironton didn't lose tonight!! I would like to say that Our Lady Mount Carmel seemed to have some very athletic boys and seemed like a good group of boys and I'm sure they will do well the rest of the season. Way to go Tigers now just keep it up
