Coal Grove 35 Rock Hill 27
Thoughts on this one?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body;
but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming:
"WOW...WHAT A RIDE!!!"

Re: Week 10 Rock Hill (6-3) @ Coal Grove (5-3
All depends on which Coal Grove team shows up.
If it is the team that played Fairland last week then Rock Hill (as bad as it hurts to say this) steamrolls in this one.
If the Hornet team that played Ironton shows up then Grove wins, it is all on which Hornet team the boys want to be this week.

I think these two teams are about even up, they play one week like they can, and the next week with their heads in the sand,
that said i'll give the grove a small edge.,

I believe Coach Knipp will have the Redmen ready for this game.
Re: WK10 Rival Rock Hill (6-3) @ Coal Grove (5-3)
CG still has an outside shot at the playoffs however slim those hopes are. This is a game they have to have I think they'll play with greater since of urgency. CG by 10

BUCKLE UP YOUR CHINSTRAPS FOR THIS VERY OLD RIVALRY. I THINK ROCK HILL FINDS A WAY. BUT THESE 2 ARE BOUT DEAD EVEN.
IN THE LONG GRASS BY THE WATER, SO WATCH YOUR STEP. AND LET'S GO IRONTON FIGHTING TIGERS, OHIO STATE BUCKEYES AND THE CINCINNATI BENGALS

Hornets had a bad game coming off a big loss at Ironton. I see them getting completely ready this week and giving Rock Hill a big spanking. Coal Grove wins 35-14.

Those refs should go to jail tonight. I am a neutral spectator and they robbed RH on the last 2 plays of the game. 1st play should have been a TD 2nd was Pass Interference. Great game to watch just a shame in comes down to 1 terrible call and 1 no call.

Goes both ways "neutral spectator" Rock Hill picked up a ball that was ruled a fumble when it was clear that the kid was on the ground and the ground made the ball pop out. Most of the players on both sides stopped playing because it was so obvious.Gonzo wrote:Those refs should go to jail tonight. Take away that play and Grove is still up 20-7 I believe. It's a shame how many people complain about officiating. Maybe you should get your license?

I would love to be able to run down that field with them youngsters. But considering I am 70 years old don't see these old bones allowing me to do that. If I am not mistaken I believe your folks complained a couple weeks ago. I wouldn't agree either by winning that way. As I said it doesn't matter to me who won just a shame when officiating decides a ballgame. Both teams played a well of a game.bhicks42 wrote:Goes both ways "neutral spectator" Rock Hill picked up a ball that was ruled a fumble when it was clear that the kid was on the ground and the ground made the ball pop out. This game will be talked about for a long time. Just another page in this great rivalry.
