The only excitement this game might have is if a NW player runs through the hoop like they did one year.

I look for the starters for Burg to play 2-3 qtrs and then the JV's will take over.

Even though burg will probably win, i really don't see them being able to stop #56 stillwell and i also look for #68 ellis to have a very good game, and if #77 or #44 Tyson Brown decides to come and play there isn't "anybody!" in the S.O.C that can stop him...oh and luke brown should put up some pretty decent numbers to, #10 watch him he's only a freshman and truly is a freak of nature!

thats what is wrong with football at northwest we get people that are halfway decent and they move to another school. when I was in the junior high the pendleton's went to northwest we had good winning records then when they got to high school they moved to west.

And you call yourself a NW Alumni?? If i went to NW or currently go to NW...i would be upset at that comment!!!! No matter how bad any team is they should still get support from the community. When BURG had a "off" year...our stands was still full....its people like you that "hurt" NW.

Every player, band member, and cheerleaders parents should be in the stands at least....

ATTENTION... I just got word that northwest 8'th grade "BEAT" -yes you heard right- Burg in football, so the tide my be turning for the mohawks finally!!! right now there is a 3 way tie for 1'st burg west and fre-akin northwest...so what do you have to say about that there panther?

Not to be negative as well,but we had a JR.HIGH basketball team win the county championship a few years a ago but when it came time for those players to play on the varsity they laid a egg.Never even competed for the SOC.If what you say is true that may be a start but it still needs to be tempered a bit.After all how many losing seasons have they had at NW? Too many to count.So you surely see why alumni and fans can get disinterested.Congrats to the Mohawks!

It is a good step, now they know that they can beat them..and disinterested and turning your back and talking trash about the school you graduated from are 2 totally different things there may be times where im upset but i would never tell my school to just quit because they suck to much!

I didn't go to NW.Alot of people on here have said NW should either give up Football or go down a level.If you call your own school out it must mean they still care....Keep working at it maybe things will turn around....
