I don't know why you guys think minford is so much faster than west. How many times did waverly's quaterback get sacked. The pour kid was getting hit on ever play. But west is so slow, i don't remember minford in his face every play. Minford is going to see how slow west is tomorrow night on the football field.

Minford with 1 loss is third and was #1 before lossing to an undefeated team. Minford at home wins this one by two touchdowns if not more. Minford is too fast for West and p!$$ed about letting last week slip away with 5 turnovers that decided their fate.

Who has minford played besides the burg. uh nobody just like us. Minford is the most over rated team in the region 19. West should be ranked 2nd at least, but we never get shown any love from the polls.

Minford seems to think they are going to roll all over West. I do not agree. West has beaten every team they have played by VERY decent margins. One thing for sure, West will leave it on the field Friday night. Good luck West. Keep it rollin' !

I assume since you mentioned region 19 that you are talking about the computer poll and if that is the case you might want to look into how those are calculated.

This has the potential to be a very physical game. Burg - Minford was a very emotional game and it was tough to lose it. Minford will find it hard to play that emotional two weeks in a row. I like West in this one, but i do not think it will be a blowout. i like West by something like this:

That computer that factors in your OPPONENTS win/loss record doesnt give you any love! The COMPUTER system is biased towards West! Yeah thats it!

Its because the teams West has beaten have only won 13 total games combined!

Didn't alot of Minford fans say that West was going to get outran last week? That we couldn't stop the pass or contain the spread? West has an excellent defense against the run and the pass.

I give Minford alot of credit, they are a very talented team for sure. I think it will be a good game but the physicality of West will win out in the end. I suspect Minford will come out with tons of emotion and will move the ball early, but West will adjust and you can only play with emotion so long.

One thing is for sure, if your a fan of new age football where they throw it all over the field, you won't be impressed with West. And I suspect that is why people whom have not seen West play in person and only on video are not impressed. Power football is not always pretty to watch, though I love it, but that doesn't make it any less effective when you have the horses to run it. I watched the replay of the Waverly/West game and by watching it on tape it's just not the same as if you were there. Minford will be impressed friday though.

after watching both teams play minford once and west several on nextvsports---minford will win the game friday with a low score. 17-14

west o-line and d-line is not very good with the exception of #79. minford way too fast for west.

west will still have one of the best if not the best player in the soc#11.
shut #11 down At QB, TE, WR the rest of the backs are average.

minford should not let #15 come off of the feild for any reason on both sides of the ball. he is by far their best weapon but doesnt stay on the field offensively. He needs to play FB and let #41 block for him.

Obviously you haven't seen west play if you think are runningbacks are just average. I mean one of our runningbacks is the srongest and fastest kid on the team, but he's just average. Your gonna see average when they all blow by minford's d-fence friday.

I think that this will be a great game and a lot of hard hitting on both sides of the ball. Some sider fans need to step back, take a deep breath, and read all of these threads. Remember...this is just a game.
A game where all the kids have a chance to prove to themselves and all of us whether they ARE the best in the area or not.

Just because you have a really strong, fast kid ("strongest and fastest kid on the team") does not mean that he is the best there ever was or will be. Just because he is the best you got does not mean that he is better than any kid on Minford's team.

Of course West is going to be physical. Hell they have been fighting amongst each other for years! lol Just kidding Siders (kind of)!!!! Seriously, West is known for their physical play and will not be surprised by that come Friday.

#8 Pendelton and #5 Murphy are excellent backs also. Pendelton is an excellent lead blocker and is a really strong runner. Murphy is big and strong, but is more ellusive. They just aren't getting as many carries because of Swords

lone ranger wheelersburg is not a good team they beat a weak ironton team they have a little bit of speed but are very small they have played the same teams west has south point should have beat them and minford also but mistakes cost both teams. i think burg only beat sp by seven west man handled sp. so if all you minford fans do the math west should win 42-7 going on the games played.




p.s. minford gets thier seven on our jv with 11 minutes left in 4 quarter

IMO there is no way the West OR Minford is goign to score 35..this is going to be a low game...17-14, maybe 21-17...
