I would like to thank all the volunteers that helped with the concession stand this week. It looks great and will look great when it’s done. The work and the tools you provide ever time you show up does not go unnoticed. From everyone at NY, thank you!!! You make the facilities for our community second to none!

Go Bucks!!!!

This game will officially be a meeting between the Biggest school in the league against the smallest school in the league.

Lets go Buckeyes! You need to play 4 qurarter of football to beat a very good Athens Bulldog team. From the first whistle to the last!!!

I just wanted to take the time and tell the Buckeyes good luck. Although we will be in Ironton tonight we will be listening.

I agree with Bishtakes, this site if for words of encouragement not trash talking. No matter what team is playing the Buckeyes you should remember that there are 22 boys out on that field giving all they have to win the ballgame.

So for the game tonight show some buckeye pride and lead the Buckeyes to another WIN. Always remember FOOTBALL IS PLAYED FROM THE HEART NOT FROM THE MOUTH......

Humbleness / Pride / Class / Dignity

Four words that are often overlooked as attributes of athletes . . . whether great or last man on the depth chart.

How often do (or did) you hear Bret Favre, Peyton Manning, Reggie Bush, or Walter Payton talk themselves or their teams up and the opponent down (aka - smack). They don't (didn't)! They remain humble, play with great team & individual pride, and win with class or lose with dignity.

Coach Boston and Coach Adams continue to lead the way they played . . . with these attributes. I hope the young men playing tonight will take away from the time they spend with these fine coaches the same qualities.

Good Luck to all players tonight!

Play with Pride for your community, team, family and yourself.

Fans - show class and dignity - you are examples to these young men and the future players around you.

Even if you hate the Buckeyes (and yes I know that MANY do) you have to give them credit for continuing to win games and win the league when they are the smallest team in it!

Nelsonville-York is not a GIANT school in a tiny league........... They are a VERY small school in a medium sized league................

Everyone seems to talk about beating NY sort of like beating "Goliath", when in fact NY is more like "David," a pretty darn successful David, but David none the less ;-)

I agree with Bish.........

NY really hasn't BLOWN away much of the competition................... It has come down to a lot of hard work, not giving up, digging deep, and finding a WILL to win close games.

The moment the Buckeyes relax and a lose that "WILL" and determination, the losses will be close behind................

Stay humble, stay focussed, and most importantly STAY HUNGRY :!: :!: :!:

The wins will take care of themselves when you have all your other priorities straight ;-)

FINISH IT!!!!!!
