With all the criticism of the current staff I wanted to say something nice.
Josh was the last holdout from a sports department that won an Associated Press Society of Ohio excellence award just a few years back, the year before I wrote for the paper (hope I wasn't the reason for the fall.)
Anyways, Josh was always helpful to me in teaching me things and helping me get acclimated to the grind of working for a Daily Paper. Josh is one of the genuine nicest guys in the business, he was committed to accuracy and fairness and he really cared about the relationships he built with coaches and coworkers. Not to mention he was a helluva feature writer.
Josh congrats on the marriage and new job. Portsmouth loses another good man. God Bless and good luck.

Thank you guys for the kind words. I really appreciate it.
As for where I am working now, I am no longer in the newspaper business. I am currently employed at Woodforest National Bank in the Chillicothe Wal-Mart as an Instore Retail Banker. I just started on Monday, and am currently in training.
Oh, and hammerdown, I'm sure I'll be around the Bluegrass plenty of times. All of my family is down there, so I am sure that I will be returning to "My Old Kentucky Home" for the holidays and such. Plus, I have to keep my dad in check, right?
