Dyla has 123 carries. I agree that Caldwell is the most likely opponent for the Cats in week 11. Still up in the air as to the host but at this point I give Caldwell a slight edge.

Its almost sad how many people at Trimble hang to the stats of past heros. Life starts after high school not ends.

Its going to be a tough game for Southern..I dont give them much of a chance...but the are a good bunch of kids led by Manuel.....they'll come out ready to play but it just wont be enough in the end....but i'll still be rooting for them

Dang this is getting interesting. It is always good to know the stats of past players and what records can be broken. We all in some way like to go back and rehash the past. I went to a band competition saturday and had a blast. Was thrilled trimble band took 2nd. :122245

Go cats

I beg to differ. Most of the trimble men go through their mid life crisis before they gradute.....

Here is a picture from Trimbles senior night when I was in high school. It was nice that their kids got to walk out with them.

 LATE BREAKING NEWS!

All of the members of Southern's Junior High team from several years ago have been cleared to play in this game. Everyone should rethink their predictions as this changes everything!

Quagmire, that's me second from the left with the beard. I see we played on the same team. :122245

Jiveturkey, please don't tell me it is those kids from the undefeated jr hi team from 7 years ago. If it is, I agree with your prediction. That collective group never lost a game together. They may have been cheated out of a few, but never lost one.

Whompas, I know one of their coaches that our kids would have trouble tackling. If he moves around like he does in practice, it would be akin to tackling a truck

Dyla is the best that has come through here in a while. My pick for Offensive TVC Hocking. Dior For Defensive player. Dont know as much about the Ohio div but these guys got to be in the running in the hocking.

I don't really have anything in this, but I would like to know why is there a need to attack the achievements of those kids. Yeah it was Jr. High, but they still did it. And unless I missed it no one has said anything about it. I guess I don't understand why attack what is in the past.

My question is, was the group of kids that went undefeated in Jr. high that good, then got that bad? OR....Did they have a good coach in Jr. High and then a BAD coach in high school. I would like to know the answer.

A person very close to the situation told me that by the time they got into high school they were no longer eligible to play due to their ages.

The good folks in the land of corn and tomatoes will be glad to tell you it is ALWAYS the coaches fault. Just look at the current guy. He may have been the greatest player EVER at Southern. When he took the job, the town rejoiced. Now, they can't wait to run him out of town on a tomato wagon. :?:

What I cant understand is how one school has had that much bad luck in hiring coaches. All that JH talent and not once have they ever hired a head coach with any brains. :122249

The QB got into drugs the rb and half the line did as well. None of the kids got any bigger since jr high either. Plus the 8th graders on that team graduated last year.

any way this week southern may get in field goal range but they wont reach the endzone. the tomcats however will reach the endzone a lot.

Southern 3
Trimble 63

Congratz to all the seniors good luck on senior night.
