Re: WK 10 Meigs vs. Belpre
Belpre needs to hang on to the ball to have a chance in this one.
Meigs may be in the running for their first ever playoff game so they will be fired up. I hope Belpre can pull out the win to salvage the season.

Re: WK 10 Meigs vs. Belpre
last year as belpre was steaming to the play offs meigs caught them. lets hope chancy has the troops ready like he has all year. meigs do not look ahead, focus and win. school history is on the line. it is yours to win and yours to lose.
senoirs, 40 years from now you guys will be gray headed, divorced 1ce, 3rd job, grandkids on the way. you have lost pretty much everything that was important from 2008.
this, time cannot take away

Re: WK 10 Meigs vs. Belpre
I think that the Meigs passing offense will be too much for Belpre to handle. Well and Company have been a very potent passing machine all year long.
The Belpre kids will play hard, but I don't think they will have the fire-power to win this one.
I will take Meigs in this one and if the Mauraders win.......... Good luck in the playoffs from BUCKEYE COUNTRY!

Let's hope things aren't reversed from last yearwhen a good Belpry team lost to a so-so-MEIGS team.Meigs should win easily unless they go into this game BELEIVING they will win easily.Any thing can and does happen in high school football.Good luck to both teams,But I'll go with Meigs in this one 36-12.

I don't think last year's Meigs team was SO SO. I think they just finally played to their potential. This years team will be fired up and ready for the first ever playoff appearance and there will be no lets downs!

i think belpre will use that to fuel their fire. i know when i played football, and a team we were playing had a shot at playoffs. it made us play harder. i think belpre will take it in a close one.

Meigs will win by at least two scores. Belpre will keep it close for a few but will not be able to hang for the whole game.

Re: WK 10 Meigs vs. Belpre
Meigs Seniors will be playing their last game of their career at Bob Roberts Field and maybe their last game period... A big thank you goes out to Clay Bolin, Mason Metts, Ernie Welsh, Brandon Hanning, Crockett Crow, Gabe Hill, Corey Hutton, Chad Bonnett and Aaron Oliphant! Your hard work and dedication to this program has given our community four winning seasons 7-3, 7-3, 6-4 and hopefully 8-2 and beyond! Also helped us to achieve a unbeaten and TVC Championship JV season in 2006! An unbeaten 2004 8th grade season in Legendary Coach the late Don Dixon's final season! A lot to be proud of!
GO MARAUDERS!
Let's win this game against our rival and hope it's enough for our first ever playoff appearance in school history and add to the many accomplishments you've already made!
Enjoy playing your final game and "ring that bell" one last time!

Belpre please play with some heart and passion. I have not seen any heart and passion at any of the games. If they play with some heart they will upset meigs. Belpre has not beat meigs since 03. Come on guys I know you can do it.

Like to see the Eagles put it all together and bring home a victory in the last game of the season but Meigs has to be a big favorite in this one and will be hard to beat at home and they are preparing for a playoff berth. At least we won't have to go to English class this year like we did last year.Good luck to both teams and.
