These two teams are evenly matched as you could ask for. Both teams losses have came against bigger schools. Both teams have rolled past common opponets.

this game is for the District 7 championship and home field advantage.

points Won Lost Season Region District
Russell 275 145 6 - 2 - 0 3 - 0 - 0 3 - 0 - 0
Mason 268 118 5 - 2 - 0 3 - 0 - 0 3 - 0 - 0

I thought I would help my budy out.

Having seen both teams play (Mason Co. a lot more than Russell though) I feel like Mason has the slightly better team. They also probably also have the best individual player in Thompson, who is much improved from last year.

That being said, Russell always seems to find a way to win in this series and it's hard not to give them the edge with the game being at home.

Either way, it should be a good one.
