I heard that he had to go for more x-rays today. He will IMO not be playing friday nite. With that said I still look for Meigs to be alright Friday. Zack Sayre will most likely take over running back, and Meigs should still win pretty easy.
Best wishes to Jay hope he has a speedy recovery, he a great player.....

Goods news not broken, Bad news really bad sprain. Not sure he will be able to go this week.... Which opens the door for #21 look for him to have a big game. Bad wet field I'll say Meigs 21 VC 0...

Vinton County really isnt that bad of a team. Their defense is better than their offense so Meigs needs to limit their turnovers, that is the only thing i could see hurting them is letting Vin co get defensive tds. 20-13 Meigs

Agree with that, It was turnovers that opened the game up for the Buckeye's in Pomeroy. You can't do that with a good team....

Hey 74", is Meigs trying to make a push to play an away game @ St. Clairsville in week 11 or what ? What I'd really like to see is Chesapeake and Ironton lose one more game, Meigs win out then travel to Amanda-Clearcreek for a 1st round playoff game. I could drive 20 minutes and be there in cornfield country via the backroads.

Meigs will be ok this week. Hopefully Rouch is healthy for the Alex game. He may very easily be the key to 1/2 of the TVC Ohio playing week 11.

Roush is one of the better players I have seen this year. Glad to hear his ankle is not broken. Meigs will need him to beat Alexander and make a run for the playoffs. Don't think Vinton County can beat them, but I think it will be closer than people think!! 28-18 Meigs

Those ankles can keep you out a long time.

If VC's O an D lines show up to play this could be a big game for vc team tryn to rebuild. The O An D line has been a problem area for several years now, it could be the players or coaching don't no for sure but it is an area I would look at if I was a head coach!

Meigs is getting closer to that trip to St. Clairsville in two weeks. (Indian Valley won tonight so they might overtake Meigs this week in the rankings though).

That and St. Clairsville lost to Martins Ferry.
