You were left with 16 players, we were left with 10 after our injuries. So of course you guys wouldn't cancel. Besides, you say you lost one lineman. Who would our center have snapped the ball to? Both QB's were hurt, we were down to one running back, and no tight end.

You say this bunch of boys haven't lost in a couple of seasons, that a good accomplishment and something to be proud of. I just don't like it when people say we cancelled because we were intimidated.

As I said earlier, if all were healthy the game would have been played.

I know these boys were NOT intimidated. If this would have been the case, they would have cancelled much sooner. I think it would have been a pretty good game. We will never know.

That's cool, it just seemed like that's what you were meaning. Both of these teams will play next season as JV's. We came together toward the end of the season so hopefully we can carry that over. Here's hoping for a typical hard hitting Wheelersburg/Ironton football game.
