More bright spots for northwest
Even though northwest jv lost against the minford jv tonight 22-8 they played a very tough game and seemed confident, also an 80 yard TD got called back that would have made it 16-22, but im not trying to make excuses...the jv has looked good this year maybe as soon as next year northwest could start turning some things around

I hope so...It sucks tho when you pour your heart out on the last game and end up losing....But all you can look forward to is next and i encourage all underclassmen to lift hard and run in the offseason

Coach Thompson was hired late in the school year, so you really can not expect this program to "turn around" in this his first short year as the Head Coach. Having said that, I hope the Mohawks can win tonight against a young Waverly team. Regardless the outcome of tonights game, this Coaching staff has looked for answers this season and I think in the process, were looking to 2009 to be a season that may very well catch some folks by surprise. The 2009 season starts on October 25, 2008 young Mohawks! You have played hard and left it all on the field. To the Mohawk Seniors, you will be a part of this program forever, for what you have accomplished this season will one day buy this program an SOC-II Championship! GO MOHAWKS!!
