Good luck to Meigs. New Lex is very good but the Marauders shouldn't be counted out from the start.

I remember 1993 when the Vinton County Vikings faced Sheridan in their very first play-off game and came away with a tough 42-35 victory. They followed that up the following week with an 6 point overtime loss to Ironton down at Portsmouth. The TVC is not always the most challenging conference there is, but it is also not to be taken too lightly.

I don't think there is any question we are the under dog... I don't know how everyone else feels but I like that role! We have nothing to lose! These guy's are expected to win the region and make a really good run at a state title! We wasn't even suppose to have a winning season at the start of the year! We have proved people wrong all year, lets go do it again!

I know they are providing a pep bus for Meigs students to go to the game Friday. The team have a bus and I believe the band got a bus as well. As far as adult fans I beleive we are on our own to get to the game.
