I told you so. I was impressed with Meigs' punter. What a leg!

new lex knew what to do and they did it. they came right at us and did not let up until the end. meigs can build on this. this is what is expected in the play-offs. now we know what we will see. meigs players do not allow this one game to define you. instead let the 8 wins do that.what you did this years was simply great. you stood tall and played like champs. congrats coachs you have lots of class. nobody put there and nobody can take it away. it has been a very great honor for my son to have learnt sportsmanship from you this year. for that i am grateful.

You have a great group of people, and the TV and camera crew you brought was a great group of folks. Your band was excellent, and I was impressed by the whole group of you. Your boys played hard, and I was really
impressed with your QB #5 and your Wide out #2. You will be a team to reckon with in the future.

I hope you all enjoyed your trip to Nl, it weas great to see how many people were lined up outside the gates before they opened tonight. While I am glad NL won, I wish you guys could have beaten someone else, because you looked and acted like a class group of people.

coltgeneral...I hate when people say "I told you so". What about Trimble??? I get tired of people running the TVC down. Those kids have just as much heart and work ethic as any other team in the state of Ohio. Meigs has done well this season and deserves the attention!

No matter if Meigs wouldve won, or lost, we should be proud of our marauder boys for getting this far. They went to New Lex and gave it their all, and I am still impressed. I loved watching them out on the field, because i knew they were doing everything they could, and really putting forth the effort. Good job Meigs on a great season this year, you boys are going down in history!!! We are all proud!

I'm watching the replay right now and some things I have noticed.
1-New Lex looks faster
2-New Lex looks stronger
3-Meigs does nor or did not tackle well in this one.

New Lexington was defiantly as good as advertised!

Meigs played their hearts out and have nothing to be ashamed of.

The younger Meigs players learned a good lesson last night, and hopefully it will influence the way they prepare for the next few seasons and hopefully we can get back and win!

That was the best atmosphere I've seen as a Meigs Fan, it was great to see all of the fans that made the trip! The students were loud throughout the whole game down to the final seconds and that was pretty impressive.

New Lexington's band was probably the best we've seen all year too, Fairland is pretty good though.

Like many have said, you have made history, be proud! You rank in the top few teams in school history based on records!

thanks for the good word new lex go get ironton. you team was the best we seen this year. that is a credit to your coach and the kids. i would feel better if meigs lost to the eventual state champs so do not disappoint us here. hopefully we will see you next year.

Thanks so much for all the words of encouragement for Meigs from other schools also. Especially from Nelsonville, I've wanted to hate you guys for always having our number in football but you've made it hard for me to.

It was a Meigs player that was taken for a head injury. Hope hes doing ok...
