WOW THEY BUTCHERED THIS STORY!! "DOUG' AMYX AND MASON "KEYS"!!! THATS AWFUL!

I emailed the writer and told him basically he was a schmuck. Its the friggin playoffs and a coach who has been around for 19 years deserves more respect than to have his name wrong in a "Weekly" newspaper. And a kid having a fine year playing football should have his last name printed correctly. I mean you've had 4 days to write the dang story and get your facts in order!!! Moron.

"Week in and week out, I don't think Logan has had the schedule that we've had, but they're still a very, very good football team," Hundley said. "They're very athletic."

Jerome is seeded sixth. The top two seeds are DeSales and Louisville. In 2005, Louisville beat Jerome 48-13 in the first round.

"This team that we're playing this week is pretty good, but I don't think they measure up to what we faced that year," Burris said.

Wow. Doug Amyx and Mason Keys.

What a joke. I know he's not too familiar with Logan, but come on. I'm pretty sure he'll know who Mason Mays and Dale Amyx are after Friday night.

Tell Coach "Doug" and young Mr. "Keys" that a lot of GAHS fans are pulling for their SEOAL neighbors!
Don't worry, DJ will know your name after this week.
From the looks of what was in the preview story, DJ's crew is kinda looking past the Chiefs. Big mistake!

I remember the playoff game against Westerville South in 2000. Walking in ,we were surrounded by WS fans who had posters with lines like"got teeth?" On the way out, I overheard one of them say, "I can't believe we got beat by a bunch of hillbillies." Let them dismiss our schedule, let them discount us as not being the caliber of the team they lost to in 2005. Go ahead and believe that. It's a long ride up 33 with the taste of crow in your mouth. These kids are talented and now they are going to be p___ed off. Good luck Dublin Jerome.

Thanks zbd. I'm sure Logan fans would all be happy with a win and no injuries. The play I enjoyed the best this season was last week's kneel down at the end because I could finally start breathing again. I'll let the others make a score predicition. I feel we will win and that is all I'll say.

Couldn't agree more 87'. The coach does acknowlegde that we are very good, but by the rest of his comments, the Celts have this one in the bag. I say go ahead and overlook the Chiefs. That makes a blowout all the more sweet.

GO CHIEFS!!!

Absolutely right '87. Jerome may be showing of that Columbus ignorance right now.

I think its great that fans of many schools in southeastern Ohio cheer on their league and regional rivals during playoffs. Its testament to the class that people down here have.

Logan 41-20

The good guys cant get caught looking past to the second game or regional final. I think last year Logan looked past Tri Valley a little and Jerome is a lot easier to look past.
