once again the defense is the key. great job d.
whats up with not going with the run until the 3rd quarter. great job clay morgan. playcalling for logan was definitely questionable tonight. need to run the ball more to mix it up.

we ran the ball the first two touchdowns were set up on long runs by morgan and one scoring the next play....imo too many qb sneaks called and no where to really run if you drop back, pass it or run the good ole logan draw lol WAY TO GO LOGAN!

Awesome job tonight Chiefs!! It was cold for sure but the defense was red hot. They definately deserve the game ball. That fourth down stop was amazing and it really broke the spirits of the Celtics who had just gained some momentum. The Celts were tougher on defense than I thought they would be and although they only rushed Angle a few times, they were definately able to take away some of our big play ability.
A couple of observations from tonight. One, Angle really needs to not try and make something happen with a desperation throw when he gets rushed. I understand that he wants to make the play but sometimes a sack is better than a pick. A faster defense would have got to those balls and possibly made a big play.
Two, where did this defense come from? I knew they were good but wow, aside from a couple plays that got DJ the score, the Celts really weren't able to get things going. Hats off to the D tonight. Finally we have a really good offense and a really good defense at the same time. Good things are in store I can feel it.
Three, while the DJ fans were polite I was real disappointed in the turnout. I mean come on folks, DJ is representing the entire Dublin community and I think the band had more people in it than fans in the seats. Come on Dublin support your teams. You guys gotta learn how to drive outside the outerbelt. How do you think it makes the players feel when they look to the stands and see that kind of turnout?
Congrats to Dublin Jerome on a fine season and much success in the future. And congrats Chiefs on finally getting that home playoff win. Let's take this momentum into the next round and show those Leopards what Chieftain football is all about.
GO CHIEFS!!!
