Round 2 (11-0) Louisville vs. (11-0) Logan At ZANESVILLE
Re: Round 2 (11-0) Louisville vs. (11-0) Logan At ZANESVILLE
I haven't seen this year's Louisville squad, but I did get to watch them last season in the state tite game against Cincinnati Anderson. From what I remember, they have a lot of guys returning from that team and their 11-0 record speaks for itself. I think this is going to be a difficult challenge for Logan. The Chiefs will certainly have to play their best game of the season to get a win against the Leps. I hope that Logan can rise to the occasion and get a win for the SEOAL. Can't wait to see this game!
Good luck to the Chiefs. Embrace the role of the underdog and play your hearts out.

Nope not putting the players down just predicting what I think will happen. Not my problem if others who are suppose to be an adult want to keep adding fuel to the fire. IF I WAS A PLAYER I WOULD NOT CARE WHAT SOMEONE WHO HAS NO POWER IN WHAT THE OUTCOME GAME WILL BE SAYS. THE BOTTOM LINE IN THIS IS SOMEONE HAD THEIR FEELINGS HURT WHEN SOMEBODY MADE SUCH A BOLD PREDICTION. WHEN LOUISVILLE ROMPS TO A WIN I WILL COME BACK AND SAY NOW FOR ALL OF THOSE WHO WERE WRONG AGAIN WHAT NOW?qualified101 wrote:dont you have a partner to pick up at denison?
not really trying to sting, just trying to get what i assume to be an adult, to admit, until you see both teams play, your opinion is only a guess, not the gospel that you make it out to be. im not really worrying about a state title this week, just hope with a little hard work and some mistake free football, logan can win this game whether it be 1 point or 100. dont care, just want a win. you, my fine classless friend, are only trying to put down kids you know nothing about and belittle them.
Re: Round 2 (11-0) Louisville vs. (11-0) Logan At ZANESVILLE
OK...so at age 16....you play for an 11-0 team and you read on a website that some guy from neither school predicted you'd get thrashed by more than 35 points
You wouldn't care?
OK
Hey Logan.......Roger Bacon, NY Giants, Appalachian St
and so on

Jay was a once in a decade type talent for this area. Angle may not have his speed, but I'll take Angle as a QUARTERBACK over Jay.
Jays is the better ATHLETE, Angle the better QUARTERBACK, both communities should be proud.
Wish the Buckeyes were playing again this week. I'm sure they'll be back next year with the Arnold kid carrying the load.

The difference between Pat and Jay is that the only thing Jay had was his speed and power. Jay was not a good QB. Ohhh yes, he won 3 or 4 TVC championships but he wouldnt have been anyone special up 33. Pat as a JR is a better QB than what Jay was as a Sr. Pats arm is FAR better than Jays ever was.

Sorry to interrupt this scuffle, but Louisville has a great website. Here is a link to anything and everything you want to know about the history of Louisville football.

I don't understand what this comparison has to do with ANYTHING right now. I think that post was completely unnecessary. Besides, Patrick is a better quarterback.

Angle played Varsity baseball and basketball as a freshman. And has been playing varsity football as a sophomore. I would take his "Athlete" stock and match it with Edwards any day of the week.

Too close to call. I know the legend of Louisville but I also heard they don't like to play defense. They prefer to outscore the opponent. I'm just wondering what will happen when someone punches them in the mouth with a tough defense.

I don't know about Louisville teams of the past, but I know they have played TEN teams with winning records in 2008 and are allowing almost exactly the same amount of yardage as the Chieftains.
Honestly, I don't think you could find two football teams in DII that are more of a mirror image of each other. The biggest advantage Louisville has, IMO, is the fact that they have been running the spread since 2002 and their quarterback took them all the way to the state championship game last fall. That's a lot of experience.
But I like our kids and our coaching staff, I know they will be prepared and fired up to "survive and advance."

Watching them play Tri-Valley last season. Tri-Valley was one of the best offensive teams the MVL has ever seen last year and still lost by 2 td's(22-13). Now, this is a new year and from what i seen watching them on t.v, they look to be even better. Like NCF said, they are on a different level. Now, don't get me wrong i would love nothing better than to see Logan knock them into the ground and win but i just think it's an uphill battle for them. And who know's, maybe they can catch a couple of breaks and win this thing.
Good Luck Logan!

I think me and one poster got things worked out as well as possible so, with that in mind I wanted to stress a few things to the Logan fans who feelings were hurt or blood pressure went off the charts because of my prediction.
First I do not hate the Logan team, their coaches or their school.
2nd I would never laugh at any community dag I live in Buckeye Lake we are not that special where we can get away with doing that.
3rd My prediction holds to more credence than yours. The bottom line in this we, the fans can talk up, talk down a team but we will never decide one play or the outcome of the game.
4th I post this for all involved with the exception of the puppet from the other site that person isn’t worth the time it took me to post this.

Louisville should understandably be the favored team here, but who's to say by how much? I will grant the Leps play in a much tougher conference than the SEOAL, and their options for high-quality non-conference opponents outstrips those of Logan. But that's more a function of geography than anything else.
Bottom line for the Chieftains -- you only have to beat them once. And Louisville is a high school football team, just like you.
See you Friday. Best of luck.

Mr. Vegas,
I was not referring to you in my other post when I mentioned the other site.
