Reg 23 #5 Newark Catholic (6-4) @ #4 Bellaire (6-4)
These 2 teams played the toughest schedules in the region. Both teams have been banged up. Both teams get high seeds for being (6-4) teams.

If N.C. uses the whole field they win, if not this one will go the Bellaire.

I will say this, if N.C players 8 and 12 yards off of those speedy receivers from Bellaire, that QB will eat them alive with short passes(slants and screens) and Bellaire is smart enough to always run the screen to the short side of the field.

I would be surprised if NC won by that much.EasternDspy wrote:Calpreps has this game with biggest spread in the region

I say this will be a close game, which either team could win

Bellaire has been the underdog in most of their games this season.

They have a habit of playing way off the rec. Maybe 8-12 yards off. So not good.If they played up on their guy then they would be really good. Talent is there.EasternDspy wrote:How is NC secondary?

What time on Saturday does bellaire play their games.
Re: Reg 23: 5. Newark Catholic (6-4) @ 4. Bellaire (6-4)
The game time at Bellaire on Saturday is 1:30pm.
Re: Reg 23: 5. Newark Catholic (6-4) @ 4. Bellaire (6-4)
Don't know much about NC except that they have some tiny DB's and a Beast for a running back. Don;t know much about Bellaire either except they do have some speed. Years ago this would have been a running clock for NC by the second half. As of this year, I would predict NC by maybe a TD or 2. I look for a Ready vs. NC game that will be a good one. Winner of the NC-Ready game will win the region and then say goodbye week 14.

For a play off game the crowd is of med size. Some hard core Bellaire fans standing behind me said it is shameful.
