Yes, Max-outs was this past week.
I do know that about 6 or 7 of the team is doing power lifting meets. Some of the players are doing winter track, to help them with football for next year!
I really believe a lot of them are prepairing themself`s for next year right now!

Yes good luck to him, good to see some Minford guys going to college and playing football. Are any other of this past years seniors looking to play anywhere?

Most if not all the players who go to the burg from Minford never start anyway. If they do it is in the same position they left Minford for. I heard most left because they thought they were RB and not OL. They go to the burg and where are they at??? The OL.

Mayhew is the best I can remember, very dominating from the L-backer position. Adkins has made some nice contributions the last 2 yrs and should have a very good senior yr.

Chad Reinhardt left Minford his senior year to go to Burg ('96).

Things didnt really pan out for him. He would have had a big year at Minford, but he got shuffled in with a couple other kids from Burg and was not the shining star. He ran track for Ohio U, he was a fast kid.

Meyhew was probably the best athlete to leave Minford to go to Burg though.

Other Minford transplants that helped the Burg out not on the gridiron but on the hardwood were Cam Miller and Seth Cowgill. If Seth would have stayed at Minford and possibly played football he would have been the best QB around....period.

Does this mean Aaron Williams is gone?

You have some serious issues. I'm quite sure that Minford will not need much help. They have quite a good base of kids coming up and will be ok. Look for the Falcons to be fast and strong. Coach Daniels is producing quite a program at Minford. Good luck Falcons!!

The kid has the potential to be a stand out on the football field and on the track, but it will be interesting to see if he gets his head on straight and stays eligible. Maybe last year watching the playoff game from the sideline will wake him up.
