Man you all couldn't even handle business in the SOC I with symmes valley your last few years in conference let alone compete with the big dogs.

NewEra,

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we win the SOC in 2005 being our last year in the SOC division 1?

Downtown wrote:Let's not forget that those Symmes Valley teams were very good. Good enough to beat Minford. Heck, they made the final four in Division 6. Plus, the team as a whole would just knock the crap out of anything.

Yes, they were REALLY tough for about four years straight.

Well that SOC I ball is the closest thing the indians will see to Gold.

I think very soon that Valley will have something to say about the SOC2. The only concern for me is whether they can beat Burg or not. i know they can beat Minford.

I think I will tag this post so it will later blow up in your face like many others that you posted last year.

Again, you prove that your brain cells have deminshed to the point that you qualify for many programs in our area.

Why do you think Minford is so much better than any other program in the SOC2? I'll give you that your program is better than Northwest but, they're starting to move in a positive direction(at least much better than past years.) Do you have a personal vendetta out for all SOC2 teams or just certain posters like me? I think this sounds like a personal problem to me and you need to get some prescription from your local pharmacy. What will you do when Burg again beats you and Valley knocks you off? Which has always been heated and a solid rivarly. Small schools in this area have ups and downs all the time. What will you say when Valley is really good in a couple years and Minford is a little down? I'm just curious. I'm starting to think you're either a disgruntled coach on the Minford staff or a parent on steroids who needs a power trip about how great their town is and how great their son/daughter is.

Valley should be at least 8-2 this year with all of the talent they have and make a deep run in the playoffs.

just a few questions for this years falcon fans? heard some of the underclassmen are not going to play---why? and---who is going to be qb? heard Aaron is going to be a RB or WR. this could be because he is not around a lot because of post 23????

Not to put Oesch at QB taking 2 years of experience away from that position is a huge mistake. He is no doubt one of the best passers in the area and probably the top in the league.

And the roof blew off the HS during the latest storm, not true! or Minford LL fields were also destroyed in the storm, not true! Same with this rumor, not true! They are all back and AO is the QB.

I was wondering there for a while if I was the one who was dilusional! Don't get me wrong, I think Valley will be a lot better than last year and I think they'll finish with at least 6 wins. . . but to say that they SHOULD be AT LEAST 8-2 AND make a deep run in the playoffs????

I have talked to plenty of Valley people who seem to have a handle on the team. They all expect what I predicted or at least in that general range. They should be no worse than 6-1 going into their last three games with West, Wheelersburg and Minford.

6-1 at that point is very possible, but then the wheels will fall off. Valley has some good skill guys, but they still are a ways off from competing physically against the big dogs in this league. Especially the 3 best teams back-to-back.

8-2 to 10-0 for the falcons this season. They are capable of running the table, I see them no worse than 8-2 and a 3rd straight trip to the playoffs.

Returning 10 of 11 offensive starters, including all the skill positions, will set the wire high this year. Every team on the schedule will be improved with a couple of exceptions and you cannot look past those teams either. I agree, this team could run the table but it will take a complete team effort to do so and not just from the seniors either. Yes, there are 13 seniors but there will be some juniors playing too. Some of those juniors need to realize this isn't jr. high anymore and will need to step it up since they are now upper classmen.
