Congrats to Patrick.
He is the second Logan Chieftain to win the award, joining Joey Conrad who won in 2000. I'm not sure how many juniors have won the award, I think there was one a couple of years ago but I can't think of who it was for sure.
With hard work from him and his teammates, I'm sure he'll be a finalist and one of the favorites to repeat in 2009.
Of course, fellow finalists Derek Arnold (NY) and Clay Cameron (TV) are back again next year along with Clint Cannon (New Lex).

yes
i havent seen a quarterback like that in a long time...throws a perfect ball everytime, and is fast so he can scramble for yards, or just scramble around long enough to get a reciever open, he is a hell of a quarterback, i really enjoy watching this kid play ball
