i think piketons staff will be the same as this year but there will be pressure on
them to do good or they are out the season after.

Keep Rockwell, Chester, T. Mcroberts, and Daddy Mo - rest must go.

So you want to fire the HC and three volunteer coaches

There is nothing wrong with the staff at Piketon.

I think everyone told those kid they were good
Then everyone told those kids there season was over after the loss to Waverly.
You would have thought everyones dog died in the village for two/ three weeks.

remember these are kids and they believe what they are told.

I don't get it, is there an underlying problem at Piketon that the rest of us do not know about?

I mean hey you went 6-4 this year, 7-3 the year before, and 5-5 the year before that. there are some schools in this league who would LOVE to have a record like that over the last 3 years.

the only problem I have really seen is that kids get on here every year saying they will be the league champs, they will go undefeated and all that then they turn around and do not accomplish that.

I know Pfiefer quite well and I doubt he has anything to do with the 4 losses they had.lol Great guy from a great family. How in the world would volunteer assistants be the problem?

please it doesnt matter who coaches. PARENTS RUN PIKETON FOOTBALL!!
its the same crap every year. "my boy is a senior he should be this" or,"my son son should be a quarterback because his name is ******."
thats the reason why we do bad.

Bozworth you are right. Until the coaches stop caring what the parents and fans think, these mediocre seasons with good talent will keep coming.

I played under all these coaches for four years actually my freshman year was there first.... and i'm still close to the program....i go hang out during weights talk to the kids.... And i'll tell you exactly what the problem is IT GRADUATED this year...the parents from this last senior class were ridiculous...and always have been... i mean come on it's your kids life and trust me if these kids were half as good as their parents have told them they were thier whole life this past season would have been a whole lot more successful...i just wish parents would take the pacifier out of there kids mouth and learn to sit back and enjoy the game...heck i would come home after 150+ games and 2 TDs and my parents would tell me i sucked.....

Piketon has a quality person in Coach Gullion. He is a person of character and a fine football coach. Piketon could do MUCH worse. Best wishes to Tyler and his staff. Here's hoping you go 9-1 and only give up 50 points all season! ;-)

Relax Piketonians. The 50 points thing is in reference to something Coach Bolin used to tell me when I was at Meigs and we played Waverly.

Could you please explain how Gifford, Fyffe, and Pfiefer is a problem and you think he might be right? It would be greatly appreciated. These coaches volunteer there time and do what they are told to do.
