Week10: Zanesville 5-4 vs Marietta 2-7

Post by tiger71 »

Thought I would start this post for the seop pickem contest. One so someone could post the score. And two,to wish the boys good luck. If your a Marietta fan reading this. You know how this season has gone. And the one behind that and so on. Not sure what the pre game was last season before The warren game. All i know it was the last game of the season. And the boys played that game with high energy and no quit. They Played with desire and heavy hearts. They were a underdog for sure. If that same energy comes out for this game. Who knowes what can or could happen. Leave it all on the feild. Have no regret on saterday morning. Know you left it all on the feild. You have the rest of the off season to heal. And for a few seniors, the rest of your lives. Play hard, and have no regret about this game afterwards. Good luck, and let's go out this season the way we know we can. Play with that same emotion as week 10 last season. Zanesville is a respected program. And they are going to bring it. This is there last game to. Good luck and go tigers....

Zanesville is struggling badly right now. Not sure Marietta has the goods to take this one, though.

The ECOL is a little tougher all-around than the SEOAL was. Marietta is a good size town and should be competitive in most sports but it has to make changes in a lot of ways if the football team is to ever prosper. There are a lot of decent sports programs there but football hasn't been one of them over the ages.

I think this one will be another Z-Ville blowout.
They are made or should be
They are facing a team I like but a team that isn't very good.

Prediction 56-12.

Uggghh the weather channel shows sunshine and 20% rain. Looks like we got the 20%, pretty good drizzle going on.

Z'ville's last 3 games have been losses to Dover(28-17), New Philly(19-7) and Cambridge(34-27). I wouldn't call that struggling as much as being competitive in a tough league.

I say tigers by 3. Huck with the game winner. Baker gets his 1000yd. And gets next season off on the best foot possible for now

Unfortunately, it's too little too late for Zanesville's playoff aspirations.
