Anyone else using cattleballs as strength training?
Yesterday, someone was talking about the use of a new strength training implement known as cattleballs. My question is whether this is common in strength training today? Who is using them? How are they used? Where can we get them?

Just sneek up to a bull and snip, snip. You've got cattleballs!

After you strength train with them, you can dissect them in science class, too.

I have been told the workout is in the attempt to aquire these things, and not acutally in using them. Supposedly this is a great conditioning exercise to add to your workout.

You sound just like Old Boxer from ANIMAL FARM:
"I will work harder!"
Ever read that book? Didn't go too well for him!

Actually I believe they are called Kettlebells, and yes they are a good workout supplemental. I watched a demonstration of these workouts last year at a track coaches convention, very nice just really expensive now, in one - two years will be reasonably priced.

Do you mean to say that some schools, like Southern, will NEVER be able to find success simply because they haven't had success in the past?

Seems to be a common thing down along the river. Ironton is going to be good every single year simply becuase of what they did back in the 80's, why not mean to say that they wouldnt be successful becuase they havent been.

Way to go, upsetting the Ironton faithful...
Re: Anyone else using cattleballs as strength training?
We at Fed Hock wear our Carharrt warmups while using those cattleballs. This allows for optimal muscle temperature and growth...
