I believe West will miss thier Seniors....they were a devastating force on the field. Many Juniors will need to step up, along with Sophmores, so many young players and teamates can look for guidance
west also has a transfer student from texas who will be a jr who has good speed and decent size 5;10 and about 170 who was clock in the 40 at 4.5.3 and a 11 flat 100 and a 24.1 200 who also plays basketball and track
Yes, J.c. Evans is his name I think. He will have a lot of competition for playing time, but if he is that fast I'm sure he will find some time somewhere on the field
he will come out for football the amount of time he playes will be up to his effort and dedication to the offseason program after he is done with basketball.
When I played for coach T , we lifted like work horses and were fed like em too.
God Bless Deb Triplett she treated us all like younger brothers and made sure we all had a belly full during 2 a days and anytime we were at their home.
I know people are saying the Evans young man is playing. Anyone else moving in, or coming out? Anyone not coming out, or need to get their grades up? What's the numbers in the weight room? Basketball should be over this week, so numbers should go up. I know that all but one varisity players, play football. And some of them have aready been going to weight lifting.
(No need to embarrass anybody with grades, just maybe a number of potential starters in trouble.)
ok so this houseworth (sr.) kid iv heard has been doing great in the weight room and is looking for a starting position. He might get a takle spot over conway, and make conway a def man only. Oh and it looks like Dale is going to pikeville..they r paying him 10 grand a year to play and go so....
dont look like any1 is n trouble with grades numbers where around 30-40 but baseball is starting to kick in and it is really showing in the weight room we need to start getting our act together if we wanna be champs again next year
Well, basketball is over. Some start baseball 6 A.M., some start football at 3:30 P.M. I don't know how one should hit the weight room, or if he should during baseball season. But last year pitchers and catchers was'nt suppose to lift. And I think that will keep some from playing baseball. It would help if we could find a happy medium. Maybe lift at 6 A.M., baseball after school. Or maybe just do a core workout thur baseball season.
I would like to congratulate Dale. Pikeville got a whole lot better yesterday. I hope someone can step up and fill Dale's shoes as a leader, in the weight room, and on the field. Pikeville said they wanted a good all around football player, and that they got. But they also got an all around outstanding young man. Take advantage of your opportunity Dale, and good luck! Keep leading by example.
