In looking closer at the diagram, the home bleachers will be on the west side.......the block of seats on the west side is larger than those on the east side..........

I sat in the stands for the final Ironton visit to Spartan. I got some great wide-angle photos that night. Sadly, the Portsmouth stands were nearly empty.
PHS had two high-level D1 players on the squad and their attendance looked like what you might see at a junior high game.
sad thin is,,,you are right.
but the crowd on the visitors side, was way down from what they used to bring also, both teams used to line people around the track area when we played, and now BOTH teams, have no where close to the support they used to have.
and at the basketball game this year, we could have played in new boston gym, and had plenty of rooom

I forgot that was on there. Thanks Dave!!!
Where will Portsmouth put there track if it's not around the football field? It doesn't look like they have enough room to add a separate track in that picture.

Someone posted above and said they will move the tennis courts and basketball courts into the phase I area and put the track where the courts were to be in the phase II area. But I dont see how they can do that because there is simply not enough room to put a track in the phase II area because the church and softball field is in the way. And I honestly cant see where they can move tennis and baskteball courts into the phase I area...There doesnt seem to be enough room either.

Where will the Ribber be and will they build any "rooftop seats" like at Wrigley field, so you could possibly dine and watch the game?

That house has been bought but unfortunately the elder lady just passed away a few days ago before she had a chance to move. Her and her blind son lived there. They are giving the family time because of the funeral and the arrangements of moving the items out of the house. I am sure it will be demolished with in the next couple of weeks.
