Reg. 23 semi: Beallsville (10-2) vs. Buckeye Central (10-2)
Reg. 23 semi: Beallsville (10-2) vs. Buckeye Central (10-2)
Looks like it'll be one of Beallsville's toughest matchups in recent memory. I think maybe 8-9 years ago when they faced Lancaster Fisher Catholic. Watched some youtube videos of Buckeye Central and that team has the size and some speed. If the Blue Devils can score 35 like they did against Symmes Valley I'd give 'em a chance of advancing.
Still scratchin' my head trying to figure out how the OHSAA put a team an hour or more north of Columbus in the SE region. Of course, if Buckeye Central were in another region it'd mean Newark Catholic (who finished 9th) in Region 23 would've been in and cleaned house.
GOOD LUCK BLUE DEVILS
KEEP IT GOING BEALLSVILLE!

Having seen both, Beallsville has their hands full. But with the way Beallsville uses formations they might be able try and get some mismatches. But having seen both teams in person I have to take Buckeye Central for the reason stated earlier. They are big, physical, and have skill. Buckeye Central can pound on you with the running game and they hit you through the air with several receives. They do have tendencies but sometimes is does not matter. Both teams are very well coached but when you are playing to make the state semi finals that is they way it should be.

Central has trouble defending the pass which is Beallsvilles strength.

Berlin Central Western Reserve vs.Buckeye Central @ Massillon Paul Brown Stadium on November 26th.
Other semi-final is:
Maria Stein Marion Local vs. Delphos St. Johns @ Wapakoneta Harmon Field
I'm picking Marion Local to win it all............
