scary close last week...let me try again. ;-)

3 picks...one for 6 (no disrespect Tiger QB, your receivers should have caught 2 of them, other was tipped at the line of scrimmage) :122245

1 punt return for 6

1 catch for 6

1 run for 6

Warriors 27-20

Rain,Rain, Rain!!! Bad for the Pass. Good for the run, if no fumbles. Warren will have a tougher time with Barnhart and Weppler back. To big hitters. Warren should run the ball to Munfield's side and stay away from Barnhart.
I hope Warren changes their front men on defense too.

This game might turn out to be a 50/48 game

Rain shouldn't be too much of an issue on field turf. If those two boys have been out for 4-6 weeks, I can't image them being too significant. They'll not be in their best shape and their game timing will be off.

Ok, if you don’t know these players that’s a good assessment. No games, out hurt, should have rust. The problem with your theory on these guys is that they are big timers and big hitters. BIG HITTERS!!! Whelpler is a natural and will be ready to go. Barnheart is so ready to get in there he has been looking like he could jump off the sidelines without pads the last 3 weeks. Also I can assure you if Munfield had a side he would welcome Warren to run that way. I think little #11 Kerr will be like thorn in Warrens side this week. We have seen great Running Backs this season so the talented bunch coming tonight will have to play there best and play at that level for 4 quarters to get this win. The Tigers can score and score fast. The Tigers will never quit, and will be more than jacked for this one. Go Tigers!!!

hey yeah so warren is predicted to win tonight 35-30. and if that many points are scored it will be a miracle. i dont think the score will go past 20 for either team. some people will get hurt and go to the hospital (who knows) some will talk big and not be. so just leave it on the field boys

hope all the injuries are minor, just a bump or bruise... a lot of effort out there on both sides!

I was standing right in the corner of the endzone, and despite my want for Venham to be in bounds. I saw his left foot on the white. Very close, but he was out of bounds.

you cant take anything away from either team.
Warren came out focused on getting a pass rush and forgot about the run. marietta prolly expected it and took advantage of it.

second half was very hard fought and warren had two goal line stands.

great game. Warrens seniors left absolutely everything they had on the field. its just a shame they couldnt come away with the win.

the team just needs to keep their heads up and prepare for Zanesville

hats off to warren great game. Much improved from past times myself have played warren. Dunfee and Coffman are hard runners they did a great job. Nice win by the tigers but tons of respect toward warren.

Etta seniors really wanted this one and they went out and had to work till the last minute to get it. Congrats tigers!

Really great game. Both teams played very hard. Spotting a team like Marietta two TDs is not a good idea. They gave Cody too much time in the first half. They finally put some pressure on him later and it made a difference. The two goal line stands by Warren were awesome. But, in the end, Marietta kept Warren out of the end zone for the win.

Too many injuries for both teams. I hope everyone is o.k.

We are certainly proud of the progress our Warriors are making.

Congrats to Marietta and Coach Schob for their first W of the season.

Again, great game! Good luck to both teams next week.

”Too many injuries for both teams. I hope everyone is o.k. It would have been interesting to see how far Warren might have gone if Ellenwood hadn't been knocked out of the game. Sigh.”

Warrnwarriorfan I agree I sure hope everyone is ok. If Ellenwood does not get knocked out who knows.

I also have to say that if Munfield does not have those “inconvenient” cramps at the end of the game. If Stratton Johnson does not go out in the first half with an injury, if Offenberger does not get tossed last week putting him out this week… Who knows. All the what ifs there are should not take away from the fact that this is Football. Injuries, big plays, bad plays, poor calls and all that is part of it. Both teams gave it all they had tonight and anyone in Don Drum Stadium should have left feeling that way.

Warren is so much improved. There running backs were as good as advertised. More important than that there line is very good. Those backs don’t get any yards without them. Being from Marietta there is no love lost for Warren, But my hats are off to you guys. You came here jacked up and ready to play. You earned my respect. I wish you all the luck with the rest of the league. I have been saying for weeks now that Marietta will never quit and will play till the end. I will now have say Warren has this same attitude. The rest of the SEOAL should take a second look at these Washington county schools. Great job to both teams.
