Oak Hill should run the table on the SOC1 this year.

Jesse Slone is a very talented QB. Joey Maynard can catch just about anything you pass to him. And with Drew Cannon and Brock Maple on the line this should be a good season for the boys.
GO OAKS!

Had the opportunity to watch 'em once last year. I was very impressed. They've come a long way in hardly any time.

come on oak hill lets not get ahead of yourselves. I'm guessing 5-5 with losses to CHESAPEAKE, MINFORD, EAST, SYMMES VALLEY, (who ever else they play), and wins against RIVER VALLEY, ROCK HILL, NOTRE DAME, SOUTH GALLIA, GREEN. If Slone leaves I'm guessing 1-10 maybe with no defense, and only a Qb i don't really see a good team this yr. Having no d-line what so every to plug the run between the center and guard you will have a tough time against the run teams in your schedule.

I would love to see this team play big SVC teams to get ready for the conference play. But we will not see that...... they maybe could beat the lil tanks or southeastern maybe huntington they could not play with teams like adena, paint valley, zane trace, and defiantly not piketon or westfall it would be worse then the minford score last yr lol it would be 50-0 1st quarter

Might be hard to lose to Northwest since they are not on the schedule. Plus Jesse Slone will always be an Oak!

First off, Slone is not going anywhere. So, 1-10 is out of the question and my guess is that Oak Hill would not make the playoffs going 1-9 and I don't think the OHSAA changed their rules to allow teams to play 11 games in the regular season. Let me know if I am wrong. Your knowledge of football in general is off the charts.
I don't think, big, and SVC should ever go in the same sentence. You've got to be kidding me.
We will see come August about those bold predictions of 5-5. I didn't realize that Symmes Valley had such a good freshmen class coming in this year. From what I saw last year, they better get a lot better over the summer if they plan on beating Oak Hill. Both the d-line and o-line will be much improved this year. As far as the Minford statement, Oak Hill should have never been beaten that bad and if we would have not fumbled on the first possession inside the 1 yard line that game would have been totally different. The air was taken completely out of the team and our teams of the past are notorious for not fighting back after adversity. But I can tell you right now the leadership role has changed and the Jr. class are now the leaders and they are winners, always have been and always will be. So when we fumble the ball this year inside the1 yard line, look for us to drive it back down their throats time and time again. It will not be a blowout this year. Those guys remember that night and will be ready to throw down when Minford comes to town.
Any more great predictions? I'm dying to hear them.

i put (who every else they play) because i didn't know their schedule for this upcoming season, and your really going to say teams like green, east, peake, s.valley, rock hill, and oak hill can be compared to teams in the svc that's the biggest joke, that almost as funny as when i heard a oak hill parent tell me they could beat piketon in basketball this season it cracked me up your comparing haha what you really think slone could single handily beat teams like piketon and westfall and adena with piketon having southworth, miller, tackett's, Varney's, adams and westfall wow you know that yourself if you follow football

What are you talking about?
All I said was I wouldn't put big and svc in the same sentence. Are there any powerhouses in the svc? I know the SOC I might be the worst conference in the state of Ohio, if not the worst at least one of the worst. Usually there are only two decent teams any given year and all the rest are cake walks.
Does Piketon have a state championship in basketball? That's what I thought. I rest my case on that issue.
If all you are going to do is bash Oak Hill, stay off this tread. Go to the GREAT SVC thread and talk your trash there.
No one athlete can win a football game single handedly. Slone is no exception. But I just stated that Slone will be at Oak Hill so 1-10 as you put it is not possible. 1-10 is not possible at all. Your the joke Big D23.

Be careful I said it was the weakest league in football and people wanted me gonged. They should go 10 and 0 with their schedule. Especially if they are as good as all of the hype. I would beef up the non league schedule big time. Especially to help them come playoff time and to help sloan and some of the guys get a better chance for a football scholarship.

They have good chance at going 10-0 but the only trouble i see them having is against minford.

OK at the most i will give you guy's 6-4 maybe 7-3, but with your schedule that's not good enough for a playoff spot your non-conference is a joke that's what i was saying with you guys maybe playing bum school's in the svc and maybe get a win. It would pull in more playoff points because they play in the svc and you guy's beat them and the svc always has good confrence play maybe the team you beat go 4-7 in the svc that would pull in all kinds of points.
