I have 1 issue with school enrollment and trying to say that should make a team be more competetitive. I grew up and went to VC and even though the school is one of the biggest in the league they still do not get the great numbers to come out for the team. Even when we were winning the TVC you maybe had 45 kids come out for the team. It is hard when the entire county is pulled to one school. Some kids have long rides home and when parents work it is hard to get back and forth to practices and such.

Im not sure about N-YBuckeyes96 enrollment #s for Wellston.I was told 167 boys enrolled for 2009-10 . I know the kids have been working hard in the weightroom .This should be a solid year for the Rockets.
I dont know about these predictions , but my opinion Meigs ,N-Y and the Rockets are the three teams to beat . Athens just by the numbers should be good.

are there no meigs posters on here? they seem to disappear quickly after a season or a loss. i know i am critical from time to time but come on. talk up meigs the kids do read these and if you don't care neither will they. count the number of ny posters on here. know why? they care! that's why they are champs year after year. if you want it parents pay for it by caring.

I really beleive that this year will be a co - champion Two of the three teams I put on top will be co champs.

NY has only lost two games in the last 20 years in Pomeroy........'96 and '98.

Depends on who they hire in my opinion.

They could fall apart with a rube in the position. They could be very good.

No one can really speculate on this until the new coach is chosen.
