HAHAHA... Miller whooped our buts at halftime of that game in '97? I was there and no fans even saw the fight because it happened in the parking lot! One senior got hit in the head with a helmet and a a jv player got kicked in the ribs protecting him on the ground. Sad part is Miller was happy they were only down 13-0 at half. Too bad we can't finish the game because the fight "woke us up" and We might have scored 60. Only person on that team I respected was Shannon Graham because he is from Nelsonville and will always be a Buckeye brother! Too bad he moved! If the class of '98 football team wants to finish the game I am sure i can get my teammates ready to play!

We played Hannan because some idiot on our school board wanted us to. Now we are out of that game and hopefully we wont have to waste our time with them ever again. But, they do have an open date and since all you guys talk about is your declining enrollment, maybe you should schedule them. Buffalo is a good program. Ohio has more teams than WV. Statistically speaking, it is probable that their would be btter teams in ohio. However, Nelsonville isnt beating those teams either so I wouldnt thump my chest too hard. I typed this slowly as I can tell you are a slow reader.....
So your AD does whatever the school board wanted you to?  This guy has been on the school board for a long long time..

WE don't complain about our declining enrollment because our enrollment is actually going up.

If Nelsonville -York wants to schedule a cupcake we got plenty in Ohio, No need to cross the river.

I don't speak illiterate inbread so I just tried to use small words. Hope you can read them.
I really am not sure why you keep making this false claim. Your numbers have steadily declined over the last several years, just like all other schools in this area. In 06 you had over 1400 students. Last year you were down to 1293, and I think it is 1268 this year. All those numbers are from the department of education, so either someone is reporting false numbers, or your enrollment is going down.

So now your enrollment is going up.....thats good.......so why is it you still want to brag about beating up on smaller schools? Are you from Athens? Sure sounds like it. BTW, we heard a story from some fans at Miller who said their kids whipped your butts in pregame warmups and you guys loaded up the bus and ran out of town before the real beating got started. Care to comment?

your spellcheck in Wv is whiteout on the screen

Every year people beat their chests that NY is going down, yet every year NY fields a top team.

It's like Cubs fans at spring training, but in the end, there is no joy in Wrigleyville.

today was their last day of school until Jan. I dont think any decison will be made or announced until then at the earliest. Let the situation play out, dont jump the gun too early.

Lets hope they bring in a new coach from outside of the Ville.
Lets hope that none of the coach's on the team will have kids on the team. Right now there are 4-5 coach's with kids and or brother's on the team. This needs to stop.

Again, let's be clear, is there an opening for the head coach or not! All these rumors are hurting your program!

Haven't seen any postings at the school. Rumor or not, as far as I know he's the coach and will remain the coach. You can't argue with what the coaching staff has done over the last 7 or 8 years since Boston has been there. TVC champs 7 of 8 years (8 yrs if you don't count the forfiet) and a few state playoffs. Regardless of the staff he has had, he has won.
So 70-80, not sure if you got boys on the team or what your issues are with them, but I would say things look pretty good for the Buckeyes regardless of who's coaching them.
