Exactly...and West and Valley have punched tickets to week 12, Ironton plays tomorrow night, Burg lost to 3 VERY good teams with a combined record of 28-4.

The loss of Shears does hurt, but there is alot of young talent coming up and I think Eddie Miller will probably step in on the role of QB, and he had a great year as a Sophmore. Wheelersburg will always carry on and be a contender in SOC 2. But the same can be said for West as well, Valley has their up years and their down years but overall still some good football teams. But the one thing you can always count on is Scioto County always pulls out a couple strong teams and Southern Ohio football will carry on into the future.

IMO, they need to leave Eddie at WR and let Austin May be the QB. He will be a Sophomore. I watched him on the Freshman team and he can throw the ball decent but his running abilities are second to none. His play fakes were some of the best I've seen.

Burg will be young again mext year, so they are probably still a year away from being a strong team. The line still needs some more experience and will really need to hit the weight room this summer.
