If Athens relies on their passing game, the O-line better be blocking very well or the passes better come out pretty quickly.
Good Luck Athens.

Re: WEEK 13 Athens vs Thurgood Marshall
I see Athens putting up three to four touchdowns, as the Bulldogs have a talented offense and can exploit a few individual matchups where they have an advantage. They have four solid receivers, a pretty good back and then everyone knows the kind of quarterback Burrow is and his excellent accuracy.
The problem is going to be TM has an offense totally in another league than the two Athens has played thus far in the playoffs. It sounds simple, stop the run, but they have a very good line, four good backs and a quarterback that can run, and it's hard to follow all that motion in the backfield with their double wing, fight through a blocker and get to one of their very speedy backs in time.
As long as Athens does everything it can, they should hold their heads high.

Wow, Athens scores more in 15 minutes than Gallia can in 48! Who's gotten better a the years went on.
Re: WEEK 13 Athens vs Thurgood Marshall
and still getting their butts kicked. Welcome to real Ohio football.
Re: WEEK 13 Athens vs Thurgood Marshall
Either way you look at it. The "W" belonged to Gallia. You had your chance in week one and lost. :122245 Talk is cheap if you consider that Thurgood has given you a couple of fumbles and a TD called back. Let us know the final score or better yet let's see if you can pack the bags for Thurgood. You better focus on your game and not look back for excuses. Good Luck the rest of the evening.Pol Pot wrote:Wow, Athens scores more in 15 minutes than Gallia can in 48! Who's gotten better a the years went on.

Seriously good season Bulldogs! most seo teams don't even get past the second round of playoffs and you guys knocked it down, with a talented sophmore QB you should have some interesting years ahead.
