You are greatly mistaken.

I could care less about what you have said about me.

The onus is on you to find out...if you really care....

Proof it's all BS if it was true you'd be bragging about who all asked you to come play instead of saying you go find out yourself.

Proof it's all BS.

It is not necessary to name them on this website.

However, it might be necessary to bring forward their names in a court of law someday.

Once again a certain poster has hijacked a legitimate thread and made it all about himself and his agendas. I guess now that Curt Clifford is gone at Portsmouth there has to be some other nonsense to clutter this board.

It's time to regain the lead in the rivalry!

BWH, you might be on to something. Clifford retires and now Kentucky Trojan shows up bragging about supposedly being "recruited" and supposedly being the greatest Portsmouth Athelete ever. Maybe Clifford found a new hobby already. If he can't beat Ironton on the field he can at least trash them here.

Your lack of intelligence with regards to this matter is overwhelming. This topic has been brought up ad nauseum.

Do not add words to which I have not spoken such as "the greatest Portsmouth Athlete ever".

Ironton's history of "transfers" speaks for itself.

ironton will continue to beat portsmouth even if the ironton kids played with garbage bags over their heads. clifford didnt have everything to do with it. to my knowledge there were other coaches on the sidelines too. they should fire the coaching staff and fire your fans who decided to never show up for games because the big bad trojans cant even beat the weak soc that they so badly want in.

i get sick of reading your blah blah blah blah.

The Tigers had Clifford's number.

For 36 years, Clifford was on the sidelines.

12 as an assistant and 24 as head coach.

During this period of time, Ironton was 30-8 versus Portsmouth.

Since the rivalry currently stands at 56-54-8 in favor of Ironton, Clifford began his coaching at Portsmouth when Portsmouth held the rivalry advantage of 46-26-8.........WOW!

Father was a 2-sport D1 athlete -- basketball and baseball at Ohio University
I was a 2-sport D1 athlete -- football and baseball at 2 different schools -- Army and Cincinnati

Father guarded both Jerry Lucas (HS) and Jerry West (College) in basketball. (You do know both of them, correct?....top 50 all-time in NBA history...btw, it is Jerry West's silhouette that is on the NBA logo.) Father played on the first Ohio University basketball team that won the MAC championship. Father could have signed to play minor league baseball but turned it down knowing that he would have never made it to the show. He went into the Army instead.

I held 4 or 5 baseball records at one time at Cincinnati. All have been broken since then...many by Kevin Youkilis. I was voted the Athlete of the Year at Cincinnati in the 1987-1988 school year. Played football at Army for 1 year before receiving a neck injury. I was the starting JV fullback as a freshman prior to the injury. In 1985 we defeated Illinois in the Peach Bowl. I performed well enough for Coach Young to move me to halfback in the wishbone in the Spring of 1986. Unfortunately, the neck injury happened and I had to stop playing. One of my teammates was Mike Sullivan who is now the OC at Tampa Bay. He was most recently with the NY Giants where he was Eli Manning's QB coach as well as other duties in the past. Several of my former coaches are assistants in the NFL in addition to Mike. They are Bob Sutton who is the Assistant Head Coach with the NY Jets (DC at Army), Craig Johnson who is the Assistant Head Coach with the Tennessee Titans (he was my fullback coach at Army), as well as many others who continue to coach in the college ranks.

If you want to see some of my high school action then go to youtube under "1984 Portsmouth Trojans Football".

What else do you want to know?
Thank you for your Service in the Army, how many years did you serve?

I was in the Navy (Submarines) for a little over 20 years 1984-2004

Actually I was recruited by 5 different coaches at Portsmouth to referee games and cheat for Portsmouth but I decided not to. Don't ask who the 5 coaches are who tried to recruit me because I won't tell but I promise that it really happened.

That is awesome!

After I found out that my baseball career had ended at UC, I received my nomination to West Point (for a 2nd time). Unfortunately, I did not receive the appointment for a 2nd time. I received a medical waiver the first time; however, they did not grant it to me the second time.

Therefore, I did not go back into the Army.

Awesome.

Good thing Portsmouth is turning over the coaching staff.

We wouldn't want any bad eggs remaining from the stone age!
