West could play that schedule and would have the same record as Ironton. Ironton didn't impress me at all either.
Earlier you said west would have a better record if they played who Ironton played which is it?
West lost at Portsmouth in a close game when they had Darion Robinson, their best player. He is a difference maker and their was no doubt that he was far and away the best athlete on the field. He never played against Ironton whom they beat at Ironton. They also had their starting quarterback against West. The boy that quarterbacked at Ironton caught a long TD and another down to the 1 against West. Obviously if he is quarterbacking he can't be their best reciever also. I think West would beat the team Portsmouth put on the field against Ironton. That's also not factoring in that West has improved a ton since week 2 as most teams should do. The rest of the games on the Ironton's schedule, would be the same result. Their is no doubt that Ironton and West would be a good game. They scrimmaged and it was very even.

Yes Ironton has played a tough schedule, but they've also been non-competitive in most. You can schedule the Packers. It doesn't mean your good because you play a murderous schedule against teams you can't compete with. It's really kinda stupid. Obviously they think the same as they just entered the OVC.

Still think this is Irontons game for the taking keep the turnovers down and sustain their blocks and tackle like they are capable of and Ironton wins by two touchdowns if not a long night and off season for these Tigers.

This speaks volumes to the state of football in Ironton that OaK Hill is even considered a possibility to beat the Tigers. On the other hand even though the game is at the Tank i believe the Oaks should be successful this evening.

TIMES HAVE CERTAINLY CHANGED TOLDYA, AND THEY ARE VIRTUALLY THE SAME SIZE NOW.
OAK HILL HAS A FINE PROGRAM GOING, AND IRONTON IS STRUGGLING RIGHT NOW.

Ironton and oak hill have been borderline D4/D5 (now D5/D6) for a few years now. Difference is ironton has came back to the pack some while oak hill has sustained some level of success while being a big boy in a small school conference. Oak hill struggled with Notre dame. ND is good for their size but oak hill should've pushed them around. A probable win will be a big point game for ironton. A win isn't necessarily inductive of a strong win, but rather smart scheduling.

I've seen both teams play this season and Ironton should win this game by atleast 2 touchdowns.

Ironton has played some strong teams this year and it should help in this game unless they are beaten down. Some said they have had some big injuries so if the Tigers can get these boys back it will be a win for them.

Ironton is relatively healthy which is good if they play smart and hard they can win.

If Ironton gets the running game going and doesn't give the ball away, I think they win fairly easily. Can't wait to watch this one in a couple of hours. Have a safe trip down and back the 'Long and winding road' that is 93, Oak fans.

Ironton 2 turnovers and 45 yards in penalties resulting in 6-6 tie at halftime Ironton needs to control and hold on to the ball Oak Hill to good of a team to allow to hang around like this.

Yes it does I agree Ironton is giving up big play after big play just like the Portsmouth game and 2 interceptions and a fumble is inexcusable for this team.

I like coach Vass but this team is not responding to the his coaching or playing to their potential.
