I hate these yearly peeing matches. Valley is a fine team and has been good for several years. Valley should be respected. With that said, it's like Valley fans and their program are starved for attention like a 15 year old kid. I've heard valley people refer to yourselves as the "new" wheelersburg. Well your not. 4 or 5 really good years does not make a program like wheelersburg. 30 years does.

Not one West fan thumped their chest about this game. A couple people said we could win. One said we would. Then the "Valley has won 30 or 32 games stuff starts". Like we should just wilt in the presence of valley. Well we won't and never will. We too are a very prideful program.

One thing for sure. Win lose or draw lets get both teams out of there without the last quarter the refs play a big role. If west loses and the game is played by the kids and not the refs, then more power to valley for the win.

They use Pendleton as a excuse for loosing 2010 but we lost prob are best player in Brice Crabtree in 2009 and still found a way to win. West always finds a excuse to why they loose to valley. It's never the better team won.

When Valley was in the SOC 1, EVERYONE on this board and in the communities said over and over...

"Valley cant go 10-0 in the SOC II, let alone win a SOC II crown"

"Valley will win 2-3 SOC II games a year at MOST"
"Valley cant win a playoff game"

Those are general quotes of course, but the list goes on...Valley comes to the conference, struggles the first few years, and all that got even louder.

Now, Valley WENT 10-0, WON SOC II titles, and has done EVERYHTING that EVERYONE outside Lucasville has said they couldnt. They have EARNED the right to be respected, and ARE one of the best teams in the SOC II.

Crab Crab Crab Crab, my man. Where to begin . Valley and West have had mostly heated contests the years that Triplett and Crab(apparently your brother!HA)have been battling at West and VaLLEY. West has had some bad luck against Valley with the exception of the year Triplett beat Crabtree 40+ to zip. The year Schaffer was coach felt the same. So to say Crabtree had his way is about as arrogant a statement as one can get. Trip has his way with Crab for sure ONE year but that was a blow out, THAT is having your way. The rest of the years were games, the ones I saw or heard about or saw later anyway. I am certain you will go back and show me to prove how great you and your 'BROTHER" are. We all know the worst West had against Valley came when West was poised for a good playoff run and undefeated. Then Pendleton goes down in a tragic way the beginning of the game . West was stunned still gave a game to Valley. That game was a win for West. The point is you question everything anyone says, I believe I stated West should beat Peake by 2 tds and you go crazy cause Valley is so out of our league and they had a little trouble with Peake so West couldn't possible win by 2 tds. I don't have to respond to those persistent requests of yours to prove why why why. I have my reasons and don't need to put them on here for you. And I was correct. Same as last week. Where to begin....

You have mentioned the 40+ to zip contest from 2008 several times, but haven't said much about the 30-0 drubbing Valley handed them last season. I never said anything about Coach Crabtree having his way with Tripplett in his years with West. I said he has had his way with him over the years. This includes many matchups with him at River Valley, SV, and Oak Hill.

I have also never said anything about him being my brother. If you paid attention, there is a poster on here known as crab apple 4. It is a reference to him. I am in no way related to Darren.

I never posted on the Chesapeake and West thread, but by all means state that I went crazy that Valley is out of West's league. I know it is fun to throw crap against the wall and see what sticks.

Great win for the Siders tonight.

However, Valley is a different animal. Coach Crabtree has had his way with Tripplett over the years. I think it continues. Valley by 2 scores.

That is a stupid statement. Lets see, the first year Triplett was at West, West QB fumbled at least 3 times and still had a one td game. The 2nd year, I recall West beat Valley by 40 points or more.
Several years, the game was a nail biter and at Valley and after several blatant bad calls on fumbles, Valley gets the ball back over and over,talk about home field advantage. Never seen such a bad ref job than at Valley. Then the year West
was 7-0 going against a solid Valley team and the first few plays of the game the stud for West goes down with a terrible injury and West almost pulled the win off then. So in my opinion, West has had their share of bad luck when it comes to playing Valley. Good Luck is overdue for West against Valley. Triplett and company by 2 scores.
And Crabs brother, you been full of yourself long enough.

My statement is stupid but yet your's ran through years of excuses why West shoulda, woulda, coulda. Listen man, West has a very solid program. They have had a lot success over the past several seasons. I have a lot of respect for Coach T having played against him and talking to him on several occasions when Coach Parkes was still on the staff. They may very well win this game.
