Re: WK 10: Chillicothe (7-2) @ Jackson (8-1) FAC Championship Game
Jackson made the playoffs even with the loss tonight. They'll be either the 7 or 8th seed.....still waiting on 1 team granville.....which they won tonight...but joeeitel.com hasn't reflected that yet.
Re: WK 10: Chillicothe (7-2) @ Jackson (8-1) FAC Championship Game
Congrats to Chillicothe on the win, their conference championship, and the trip to Week 11. Their kids played hard, played well, and I thought they showed a lot of class. Good luck to them and their assistant coaches in the playoffs.
I feel absolutely horrible for Blake McCoy. That kid has been a superstar for three years at the varsity level, and to have his season end on an injury like that right after an amazing run is just heartbreaking. He is tough as nails, and a true Ironman. Best wishes to him. Can't say enough about this senior class and the rest of the guys out there tonight. I know many of them were banged up, but they still played hard and gave everything they had. Proud of them.
Jackson's two first half turnovers in the red zone proved to be costly. Can't make mistakes like that against a team the caliber of Chillicothe. The positive side is that Jackson got the help they needed and still clinched a spot in the playoffs. They're definitely decimated by injuries, but you can bet they'll show up somewhere in Week 11 and play hard!

Chillicothe will finish 7th or 8th.
Lasalle beat Elder 13-7 tonight to finish 8-2. They will be the #1 seed
Winton Woods beat Moeller tonight 35-14 to finish 9-1 and they will be the 2 seed.
Prayers up!

When Jackson played Winton Woods last year, I knew they were gonna be scary this season with so much coming back.
They're REALLY good, especially going 9-1 against that schedule. Their schedule is almost as tough as the D1 state title contenders.

All jackson needs on Joeietel is the Gallia Academy game tonight.....which they won. This will push them just above granville for the number 7 seed. They will be playing Independence Week 11. according to joeeitel.com

Did not say they are not a decent/good team. But they could not put it together against the two good teams they played.

interesting to note that had Jackson Won tonight they would have ended up with 23.65 pts.....while not enough for a home game it would have been 5th place. and they would have played Marion Franklin.
