my thing is west has only hit 50+ twice and both the teams they did that against is worst then ferry.

To be fair, they could have hung 70 on Valley if they hadn't taken their foot off the pedal at halftime. That game had a running clock the entire second half. I wasn't at the Wellston game, but my understanding is that it was pretty similar. I don't think they're gonna put up 50+ this weekend, but I wouldn't say they're incapable of it.ohwkGREATNESSyrio wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 11:06 ammy thing is west has only hit 50+ twice and both the teams they did that against is worst then ferry.

What type of field does Martins Ferry play on...grass or turf? Does a grass field that may be a sloppy muddy mess favor one team over the other?
I believe that this is going to be a very competitive game with West surviving to play in week 12.

Funny how this is a West thread but so many burg fans like to get on it and tell everyone how good burg is. Put that on your own thread not West's.Jolly P(irate) wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2017 11:47 pmYea. That’s usually what you get when it’s a Portsmouth West thread. They give no insight on anything. They just run their mouths and hate facts.Purplesage wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2017 8:59 pm Guess this is a bash thread so I'll just stay up here and leave the game talk on the sidelines!! Sorry to spoil the trash thy neighborhood crap with some game talk!! See ya Friday!!

I was at the wellston game, Nothing came to easy for them 31-6 no where equals keep the throttle on score 70 Im not saying they did not win it handily but no way they hit 70.Hylander wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 11:24 amTo be fair, they could have hung 70 on Valley if they hadn't taken their foot off the pedal at halftime. I didn't necessarily mean they would have scored 70. I just meant that they took care of business in the first 2 1/2 quarters or so and backed off from there.ohwkGREATNESSyrio wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 2:26 pm I was at the wellston game, Nothing came to easy for them 31-6 no where equals keep the throttle on score 70 Im not saying they did not win it handily but no way they hit 70.

Home games are turf but nearly all away games on grass!! Last week we played Saturday on very wet grass!! We do have grass cleats if that's the question!! Well you better tell them pony riders to bring them grass cleats and maybe their MUCK boots if they have em? It’s going to be extra wet this week.ohwkGREATNESSyrio wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 9:56 pmPurplesage wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 7:30 pmHome games are turf but nearly all away games on grass!! Supposed to get 1/2” of rain, but you also have to account the 2” of fire hose water with it! West wins in a sloppy one.

You will need to bring several pairs of "grass cleats" for each player...they will have at least 1 pair stuck in the mud from the 6" high grass soaked in 3-4" of hydrant water! Hey, I don't care who wins this game, but the grass cleats was not the question I was asking!! LOLPurplesage wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 7:30 pmHome games are turf but nearly all away games on grass!!
