He has a booming leg and his accuracy is spot on. Nice weapon to have the next three years.

I believe he has some South Webster blood in him so that even makes it better

Re: Week 4 Wheelersburg(1-2) @ Greenup Co.(2-2)
Yeah I can agree with this. Burg needs to work on a bit of tackling this upcoming week. I know we only gave up 7 but I feel we gave a lot of yards up on the runs outside. Kids broke some tackles that shouldn’t have been broken but they got better as the game went on.fbnut wrote: Fri Sep 20, 2019 11:24 pm Not to be all negative I thought the D played better in second half
The qb continues the get better each week
#26 ran about as good as I have seen him run
Kicker with another long field goal and another 1 or 2 kickoffs in the end one
Re: Week 4 Wheelersburg(1-2) @ Greenup Co.(2-2)
I couldn’t believe how many yards Greenup was getting on the ground and a lot of missed tackles too!! Yes they only scored 7 but the defense come up big when they needed too. I guess tonight it was bend but don’t break kind of night.
Re: Week 4 Wheelersburg(1-2) @ Greenup Co.(2-2)
If sammons didn’t get it in the endzone Greenup brought it out to the mid field areaJTEK wrote: Fri Sep 20, 2019 10:45 pmGreenup fumble deep in burg territory and wr dropped tdpackers80 wrote: Fri Sep 20, 2019 10:36 pm They gave up 7 points, seven! To a team with a QB like that. Missed tackles or not, that's pretty good. Burg is playing a ton of kids now. At one point late in the first half they had 7 kids on the field that didn't play a snap of varsity football last year.
So they could have had more than 7
I’m starting to think they don’t let the kicker kick deep because the coaches don’t trust there kickoff coverage

Burg’s defense needs some more work but I think Coach Woodward is really challenging his guys in practice and Burg is getting better! Not the most talented group but if they keep improving I could see them in the hunt for the region again this year. Will be interesting to see next week when Wheelersburg has gotta go up against a strong physical Jackson team. Will they be able to stop the run?

The scores from the first 2 games doesn't really say "reload" my man. But it seems the coaches are putting pieces in place to make the team a contender.packers80 wrote: Fri Sep 20, 2019 11:34 pmYep, a reloadBleeding Red wrote: Fri Sep 20, 2019 11:20 pm Not sure about a reload but definitely a good win and positive momentum for Burg tonight

That was not good D
The qb being good had nothing to do with not being able to tackle everybody else
Agree FB nut .. GC moved the ball rather easily in the first half . Burg's D was really poor in half 1 . As mentioned , GC gave up a fumble deep in burg territory, and a kid dropped a perfectly thrown bomb for a TD as well. My point is Greenup isn't very good , high level QB but I dont know how the kid stays focused with as many dropped passes as he gets every week ( as told by GC friends of mine) last night was the norm . Dropped passes every possession . Burgs O looked fine , lots of weapons . But I'd be worried about the D . They got shredded for a half against a team that finish 4th or worse in the SOC2.

In Johnstowns defense so far they've played D2, 3 & 4 teams that are a combined 14-2 and their losses are to Zanesville, Licking Valley and Granville who are all undefeated.yabbadabbadoo wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2019 12:32 am http://www.joeeitel.com/hsfoot/region.j ... &year=2019

Does Greenup never have room in the press box for opposing coaches? I thought it was crappy that our coaches had to stand on the steps to the press box
